Not at all... I can't see it either had the poor bloke on the phone for the last 20 minutes.

Seems MGS was upgrading their back end which handles the tournament creation and it's gone for a loop

Customer support indicates the situation will be resolved within a half hour. I've just sent a PM to GPWA members playing in tournament and will send another PM once the tournament is displaying.

Can anyone see the tournaments 46903 and 46910 in the slots list?

The tournaments are showing in the MGS back end but they are not *as far as I can see* showing up in the software.

    Please let me know!

Angry the battle field is bogged down

Sadly the battle field is bogged down with technical issues and difficulties beyond the measure of even this account manager... seems even I am only mortal

In short the tournament is visible and 100% loaded on the back end but Donovan from MGS couldn't help to get it to show in the casino software. He was an absolute stalwart and tried all sort of things to make this happen for all of us but sadly no luck.

I am really sorry - you've all been fantastic and the vibe has been amazing! I will work on rescheduling the tournament for next week when all the bugs are ironed out so that we can have a succeful tournament!

On the bright side... all of you who wanted to enter *no reason to cry now Natalie* but couldn't because we had already submitted the accounts can now play when we rerun this next week.

My apologies all round... I've tried all I can to get this live.

I will have it live next week with all those who signed up and those who still want to and the prize of $5000 is still waiting to be won.

    Again - my deepest apologies

To make this easier all round would it be better to play the tournament on a Saturday?

This means no time off etc.

    If so I propose 29/9/2007???

    Thoughts?

    Unhappy

Do you think its fair to let more player join the tournament next weekend ?

First you let us all wait, an later you tell us you will let more player join same tour, thats make the odds for us some already signup for today bad an unfair after the mistake not was us players both ReferBack some again show the affiliates world the not can do anything correct.

Will be more fair to split the $5000 prizepool between all player some have signup to the todays tournament an then you welcome to setup a new one to next weekend where all can join again..

While I was anxious to play I know you tried your best from your end and appreciate it. Hope you get over your cold soon and feel better.

I do agree, however, it would be more fair to let only the existing tourney members play at the make-up tournament or split the prizepool among them and have an entirely new tourney. I feel for those who missed out on a days work and gave up other things to be here.

I agree with you. I think it should be the same day next week as I am sure many people like to not be on their computers on the weekend, I know I don't!

Fair comments all round... I will keep the replay to the same day next week.

The existing players and those who did in fact email me but got to me just after the cut off time will be entered as you're right... you deserve an equal chance at winning.

I may be totally out of line here and if so my apologies ahead of time. For starters you should be grateful to have this tournament, as it is not something that is required to be given to you me or anyone for that matter.

Technical issues happen, its part of life. You really need to roll with it its not the end of everything its a game.

Shane I think you did a great job and if it happens next week great will be here. Either way thanks for the opportunity

Exclamation Win Your Share of $5,000 in the Battle of the Forums

    Hi there all,

MGS has been working their tails off since last week to resolve the bug that wouldn't let you play in the private tournament.

Now as confident as some folk are that it will be sorted by tomorrow I don't want to take the chance of wasting anyones time again as they're running it very close to the tourney start time.

So the decision has been to postpone the BOTF until such time as the following are 100% certain:

    1. All invitees can see the games
    2. All validation emails are being sent to players.

We may not have got to play but this has highlighted a bug which needed fixing ASAP so thank you for that.

    Shane
