Connie to answer your question, I try very hard not to drink at all. Unfortunately when I am in Melbourne for the weekend I am unsuccessful. I'm blaming Schalk for it actually. He is a bad influence.

At conferences I don't think there is a time that I am sober.. in fact I don't think I've ever had so much to drink ever as I did in Barcelona last year. I got back to my hotel at about 5am after the last party and had to shower and pack to go to the airport in half hour and I couldn't even stand in the shower. I don't know how I managed to get back to my hotel.

Edit: I'm blaming that on Martyn and the bar crawl actually.. Martyn is also a very bad influence. Be careful of him!

I also manage to flash my bum to people when I'm pissed.. but that's a whole other story..

The last time I saw so much alcohol in one place was at the CBG affiliate weekend.
There was full barril of champagne.

Regarding the chicks, it's nice to see that they have reappeared...

I remember in all the photos from the Vegas conferences, nine used to always have a group of hot chicks they would take around and party with, known as the "Nine Girls". The vegas conference I got to go to (affiliate summit jan 06) was the first one that they didn't have the chicks with them. I remember Marty asking me if I wanted to ride with them in their limo to the chocolate party... but I told him I was in bed with someone else.. for those who can't remember or weren't around at the time, their slogan was something like "Get in bed with Nine".

I thought it was funny. Maybe you just had to be there.

I also met Simon Eaton at that conference as he was with them, and saw him again in Barcelona last year, said hello, but he didn't even recognise me. Just said hello and kept walking.. I'm wondering if it was all the booze...
