I got an email to a non public address asking to promote them, I asked where she got the email add from, she said 'an affiliate manager friend'
Some (not all) affiliate managers have been trading our email addresses for years but they usually will never admit honestly who gave them YOUR email address.
It doesn't matter if this is a targeted email list trade, they are doing this without the recipients permission.
If we did the same thing with player's lists, and a single recipient complained, it would be considered spam.
So why would anyone think this isn't spam? Just because their affiliates instead of players does NOT mean it's ethical.
There are a fairly lengthly list of affiliate managers that would never consider doing this since they value their affiliates and keeping their details private
