RE Other peoples comments about SE Asia, specifically Thailand, gambling is banned in Thailand, it is a grey area as they do have a state lottery, but Casinos are underground only and regularly raided. There is no such thing as bookmakers. Getting payments from anyone in Thailand I would suggest will be incredibly hard, as well as being illegal (for them anyway).

I think over the past several years the UK has gone from the best to one of the worst. I've only recently just started testing out other markets. Although nothing seems to compare to the UK pre 2016.

At the moment I'm testing Australia and New Zealand. Competition there is not that fierce like in the UK (I agree with the post above, that atm the UK is one of the worst).

As an affiliate with a focus on providing transparency to emerging markets i would definitely focus on english speaking african markets, eg. Kenya & Nigeria. You will face lots of problems, for sure but there is a lot work to be made there. As those are not attractive markets for most affiliates focus on europe due to the huge differences in players LTV, i do think those market do represent (maybe exactly because of that) a good opportunity.

As far as i understand sportsbook is the way to go. Considering sites speed & accesibility are a must.

In regard to operators, there are a handful, being Betway the main one i think. Markets instability is also a factor to mix in you considerations.

So, trend if for regulation (mainly for taxing purposes) but i think that in this day and age any market will represent a challenge for affiliates in that regard, what happened in Austrialia might well happend and it is happening in other countries, as there is a big regulatory push, for good and ill.

So just check for opportunities, and toss you coin (again)! Good luck!
