Thailand is ok - as long as one doesn't get hooked on its red light district way of life. Because that sh*t will come to bite you later.

Malta is a bit complicated with banks nowadays. Not many banks available to open a new account, and when you find one (I tried to find a second option, and couldn't) the fees will be higher than expected.

Also cost of living is quite high nowadays, at least around Sliema area (which is also where most gaming companies are located). As an affiliate working on his own, I'd recommend Gozo (I live there for 3 months now and it's sooooo much better...)

    my 2 cents
In theory i'm a SEO. In practice i solve problems. A bit like Winston Wolf.

Seriously? We talking about same Thailand?

We live a quite modest lifestyle, but if you want to live and not just survive monthly costs are all but not cheap:
    Rent (4-bed house): €1.700
Proper health insurance for 4: €960
    Visa expenses: €220
    Tuition fees (Kindergarten): €570
    Long-term rental car: €300
    Cleaning staff: €170
    Nanny: €210
    Electricity, communication, fuel: €300
Plus another 1.5 - 2k for grocery, entertainment, travel, etc.

    That's quite a lot.

I can live here with way less than the half of that. But must say, South America is the same thing. If you want decent schools, health care, safety, etc, it's way more expensive than Europe.

I guess if you rent smaller house and don\t use nanny and cleaners, but then probably it's how u want to live so ... By the way what health insurance is this, I pay 100$ per year in Bulgaria. Generally don't spend more than 1500$ per month for 2 people and we travel a lot and buy whatever we want. I'm also renting a room by the sea for 400$ per month now.
There are many gambling sites, but my favorite one is the betting forum

Smaller house (200qm isn't that big), yes good idea My kids sleeping in the kitchen and I move my office to the toilette?!
Bulgaria is not Thailand. We lived a couple of years in Prague for half of my current expenses. On Mallorca before, the same house there was €2700 per month. I canīt live in an 80qm shoe box and i donīt expect it from my family. And if you want some playground and a pool for the kids you have to pay for. Everything else than thai street food is expansive. A bottle of drinkable red wine cost €20 in a supermarket.

But yes, if youīre single or if you like a backpacking lifestyle you can live here fairly ok with €1.6 or so

Btw. its a quite normal expat family insurance by Cigna.

I live in the Philippines, and I am happy with this. Beach is nice, cost is cheap. Especially very close to all operators in Asia (because gambling is illegal, so some markets like Thailand and Vietnam operates in the Philippines)
