Talking Best Spam Ever! MUST READ!

I can't help but laugh.. I'm sure everyone will laugh and appreciate this too..

I had received 2 emails prior to this one from this John William guy from xxx.referers.eu - apparently he is their marketing head...

I will post them all below, as well as my reply.. and then his reply is gold..

    Email Number 1:
    Dear Affiliate
My name is J. William working as Head of marketing team for Referers Group.

We are interested to work with you. We are a organized marketing company with over 40 well known partners and a network in 12 countries of the world alongwith 4 years experience. We are doing business on all major deals (Rs, Cpa, Hybrids) I invite you to please visit us at www.referers.eu. I hope you will find all information on our website, however if there is something else you want to know, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Wishes
    John William
    Head of Marketing Department
    Referers Group
    xxx.referers.eu
OK so first of all, not an affiliate, so I just deleted this one.. Sometimes I'll play a little because I'm a smart ass, but I have been far too busy for that lately, so this went to my deleted items..

    Email Number 2:
    Dear Affiliate
My name is J. William working as Head of marketing team for Referers Group.

    Email Number 3:

    Dear Sir/Madam
We had send you over 3 emails, But unfortunately we have not get reply from you. We want to work with you. And we had send our offer several times. If you are not interested then you can simply let us know.
I hope this will you should arrange an answer.

OK so, after sending me 2 emails as "Dear Affiliate", he then sends me an email saying "Dear Sir/Madam"... Any research would show that I'm a woman. He can't even address me by my first name (and this is why most aff managers never get responses btw - biggest tip, address someone by their name if you have it)

    My response:

    Hi John

If you had done some research instead of sending mass mailers, you would realise that we are ignoring your emails because we are not an affiliate.
Please remove me from your list.
    Cheers

    Kindest Regards

    Renée
    Affiliate Coordinator
His response (brace yourself for a fit of laughter):

You blody blood of a bi,sexual donkey
I absolutely do not have any interest to contact you. **** eater monkey.
And i will not say sorry , insert a finger into your mother's ass and take my name shoutly.
    get off
Maybe he knows me a little too well?

In case anyone feels like sending this guy some midget porn, here is his email address: marketing@referers.eu

I can't. I'll be too busy inserting my finger into my mother's ass while taking John William's name shoutly.

Renee, you can't honestly tell us that you aren't at least considering starting an affiliate website just to work with this guy. His response was so classic that I am considering a permanent redirect to his properties!

If he promised to post content as good as that all over it, I'd become an affiliate just to promote his site in a second...

He also has to include all the midget porn Joe sends him as well as the 5k emails with all different subjects...

Glad everyone finds it as amusing as I do.. gotta say that's the best one I've received in a long time. I really should post these more often.

My favourite part is "you blody blood of a bi"

Now that just not only sounds cool, but makes good use of the letter "b".

Looking at the quality of writing (lack of) and seeing how professionally the "Marketing Head" acted in his correspondence with Renee, I did a little digging.

They list Doyles Room, 888, VC, Sportingbet, Simon Says, Hollywood Affiliates, RummyRoyal, Betfair, Betfred, etc... They are representing a fairly large group of programs...

Based on the spam and the lack of professionalism they are showing, if I was a program doing biz with them, I would be thinking about severing the relationship.

According to whois info, the website is less than a month old...

This is absolutely brilliant - if this company ever shows up at an affiliate conference, I think we should corner them

To be fair, they have got you spot on Renee

Ha, there is no way they are ever showing up at a conference - I highly doubt they are even real.

Take a look at their company profile

" In the starting period company only used offline adverting sources to to refer players. In the end of 2006 managment launched the website and start online services. By the end of 2007 company''s operations were extended to Uk, spain and france and some other countries of the europe. In april 2008, company was merged with a giant marketing group and spread its wings to all over the europe and australia."

Simple spelling mistakes, referring to the company as if it's a person = pathetic.

Indeed a hilarious way to start a day though.

That was certainly funny Renee, thanks for the laugh.

Now for all the affiliate program managers out there, have you taken a look to see who is representing you to new affiliates?

This is only ONE of the problems with allowing third parties to run their own affiliate programs and act as agents of programs.

Affiliates, this is why you should work direct with the programs, it's ok to join as sub-affiliates under trusted partners and other affiliates, but joining a group such as this could easily backfire later.
