Post a new thread in the Driven Affiliates forum as newbies may fall in their trap as they do not know the link to badpaypartners.

I hope John will not pay the GPWA invoice for the sponsorship and/or C-City affiliate commissions maybe then there is some "action" by the man in the T-shirt.

Good luck with this. Anthony deleted my efforts to tie bestpay and driven to each other. Clearly, GPWA and the people behind Driven have a special sort of fondness for one another.

That is not what happened. I alerted Driven affiliates to respond to the thread because as I've been told before, sponsor programs are expected to respond in their sponsored forum. They are not accountable for following/responding in the general forum. And the post was deleted.

Just a quick post to let folks know that I do take the situation with Best Pay Partners very seriously and have been following up with them. Anthony let me know what was going on and I have now had several email exchanges, and I expect to have more over the next few days. I have made it crystal clear that the current situation is unacceptable.

"The concept of leaving the sites in question open to players in even a few countries, and not maintaining affiliate relationships with any current affiliate that referred players that continue to play at those properties is something that cannot be defended. From our conversations with affiliates, such a position will result in your organization being tarred and feathered as was the case with the Grand Prive affiliate program."

"We need urgent confirmation and positive and pro-active statements that affiliate earnings will continue for all existing affiliates with any players that continue to play even in the face of the former affiliate program for those sites being closed. And those statements will need to be accompanied by a specific plan that can be explained to affiliates regarding the steps that will be taken to assure affiliates that will be the case."

"In the absence of such statements and such a plan, we will, unfortunately, have no choice but to terminate Driven Affiliates sponsorship of the GPWA for violation of the GPWA code of conduct by your organization."

My first and primary objective is to endeavor to reach an agreement that the current situation will be addressed in a fashion that ensures existing affiliates are treated fairly. I hope we will be able to accomplish that. However, I am not naive and fully understand there is good reason to be extremely skeptical based on what has transpired. However, I have been assured that there is a desire to treat affiliates fairly, and that the owners are being made aware of the seriousness of affiliates' concerns and of the consequences that will follow if those concerns are not properly addressed.

I expect that it will take several days for the discussions with the owners to reach a conclusion. Either Anthony or I will report back when we know more.

Since it has been a few days I felt I should make a status post. I am in the midst of ongoing discussions regarding the situation with BestPay Partners, and besides exchanging a number of email messages, I have had two extended phone conversations, one directly myself and one that was a conference call that Anthony participated in as well. We do still have remaining work to do, but I anticipate making a full post on the topic fairly soon, I hope by the end of the week, although it is possible it will not be until the beginning of this coming week.

In the meantime we encourage any affiliates that have specific payment issues to contact us with the details. In addition to looking at the general issue, we are investigating specific situations where our help is desired. Just pm Anthony any specific details you would like us to be aware of and help with.

I rarely give thanks to the Commanding General, but in this case it's the right choice.

There are so many crudities and iniquities, that at least the old earnings must be rescued. I have absolutely no idea how a lockdown system can still track activities from old players, and because the affiliate system is offline and webmasters are not able to search e.g. for player codes or player usernames to make a list for the big two of GPWA, my believe is, that the revenue share that was generated by the still happy operating casinos after the affiliate program lockdown is gone.

If not, then I am more than happy, but this would one more evidence that crudities exists..

The main point for me is - apart that the webmaster will get their money - that John, the main person in this case, refused and still refuse to communicate with his business partners and to the public. For weeks - if he communicated - then he communicated only over third parties.
Hello?!

In my opinion there are only three options possible for this behaviour:

a) Cowardice.
b) Arrogance.
or
c) He has legal problems.

Anyway, this no communication policy is a bottomless impudence, and the odds for his aim to emerge unscathed are Zero, because taking so many webmasters for an idiot is no good starting point for a reserve program.

Bestpaypartners goes to a forbidden page. I wrote a Bestpaypartners since yesterday, but I have no answer. [...] It's incredible. Affiliations do not send messages.

6 days later John's "third-party-game" started.

I did get a hold of John. He said last payments will go out to affiliates.

At the same time it was the perfect starting point for a "big [tuned] story" that can be told later to GPWA staff and [again through this third party] to the audience, because everything was obviously in the dark:

I did not get an explanation why you did not receive a notice. I don't have any particulars on what exactly happened.

After 3 1/2 weeks one thing is clear: Truth needs no long wait.

No matter, what kind of story was told by John and / or "his owners" to all the third parties, it was / is in the best case only half the truth and not a complete old wives' tale ... again ... in the best case!
