Bet butler has closed, looks like anyone owed will not be paid out.

not sure how many had issues? But they are selling the database

Quoting an article from iGB on this:

Online sports betting broker BetButler has ceased operations of its services amidst reports of a potential sale of its customer database to an unnamed third party.

Visitors to the BetButler.com website are now greeted with a message informing them that the service is ‘currently unavailable’.

The message reads: “The Board of BetButler Limited has been approached by a third party regulated gaming business to acquire the customer database, including all balances and pending withdrawal requests, of the business.

“This process will take some days to complete. If you have any questions please email info@momaco.co and your queries will be answered.

“A further announcement will follow in due course.”

During recent months, BetButler has been the subject of criticism from users over its payment processing and customer services, with many opting to file complaints with the UK Gambling Commission.

Various reports have also suggested that BetButler has been suffering with a number of financial difficulties in recent times.

It seems you have to wait until the acquisition had been completed before getting payment.I wouldn't be expecting good email support during the transition.

It's a hardly a surprise, their commission structure was complete nonsense + they bought the bodugi player database from dave nevison after bodugi lost their license due to no money and the bodugi players with funds held were given free bets to compensate, only i believe it came with playthrough requirements, complete joke. what goes around comes around.

i don't know the in's and out's of it but i'd imagine you'd need quite abit of liquidity to remain in operation.

The idea of BetButler was always good, and if it could go as far as comparing 60+ bookmakers for each market then more people would flock to it for sure. I think one big mistake was blowing such a big budget on advertising since it started. I can only imagine how much they spent on advertising on football billboards on televised football matches.

One problem I had which I found very misleading, was that Betbutler would quote me on a price, let's say 2.50 for a football match, and then when I signed up and deposited (all within 5 minutes), the odds refreshed and I got nearer to evens instead. I didn't like this, decided to cancel the bet and withdraw my funds.
