Surely the new owner would want to honor their old contracts to keep on paying for life, people they have no business with. Still kudos to them, for keeping their word, 8 years later. Most couldn't keep it 8 minutes.

If Bet365 is truly considering a £9B sale, it signals a major turning point, not just for them, but for the entire UK gambling sector. The last of the big independents possibly handing over the reins.
Could be that rising pressure from UK regulators, heavier taxes, and an increasingly over-regulated environment are making long-term private ownership less attractive, even for an industry leader like Bet365.
