Red face Bet365 changed affiliate links

I hate when affiliate programs change affiliate links.
There are a lot of pages with Bet365 links on my site. It will take a lot of time changing links manually.

I have to change my script that changing links takes several minutes. Because I see that changing affiliate links became usual for affiliate programs.

It is a pain. I recently had to remove all links going to betcom and mybookie because vip profits decides to remove those sportsbooks from thier network. It took way too much time to remove those banners and links and swap them. I dont understand why programs do this. Half the time I swap the offending program with another program that I know doesn't do this.

It takes time when you have over 200 websites with a minimum of 5 pages each. When you swap a program you need a somewhat original description for each site as to avoid the duplicate content filter...

Ditto on the Frontpage tool - does make it easier to change. In this new climate of "here today, gone tomorrow" we have to be fast on our feet!

I have dinamic pages, and all my links are in mySQL database. I know that it's easy to write a script so I have to do it as quicker as I can

    Mojo,

I recommend you make a backup of your site before using this tool for the first time, although, you will get the hang of it quickly.

I also recommend choosing the option of looking in the source code, (which is usually not the default)

If you need any help, just ask as many of us here use Front Page a lot.

You are correct, Rick, about backing up just in case if its his first time doing this - Frontpage even "warns" you that if you click REPLACE ALL, thats its.

You might want to try just one page to see how it works. I always do it in "edit" view so I can see the source code as Rick points out.

It really saves time, though, when you to change a link site-wide.

Thanks guys, I will most definately proceed with caution. A backup is very good advice and a good habit. Someone had given me a very cool scandisc that goes on your keychain. You just never know.

You will learn to really appreciate its function, mojo. Wish just one click, I was able to replace one affiliate program with another throughout my entire sites navigation on all pages. Truly a time-saver.

As mentioned before, if you have any questions don't hesitate...
