Default Bet365 Remove Free Games Option

So Bet365 have decided to remove the Free Games option from their Affiliate program. I am sure a lot of you have seen the rather odd email that was sent out. If not here it is verbatim

As you may already be aware, the Playtech Free Play Games which we send out to affiliates stopped working quite recently, displaying the following server error:

We have looked into this and can now confirm that this is due to the ‘fun game’ being removed our end (it’s not something which we’ve been able to offer on our site for some time now).

As a result of this and without fun game servers, anonymous mode in Casino cannot work, meaning that affiliate’s will no longer be able to use the bet365 Free Play function on their sites unfortunately.

Can I please ask that all necessary steps are taken to remove the existing content? Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
    My question really is simple.

If you were going to remove the free games option, why not tell Affiliates this and give them time to remove or replace the games. Why only tell them after the fact.

You cant tell me that Bet365 did not know that this would happen.

They stopped giving the codes out a long time ago (year or two) so I guess this was always on the horizon. Although you're right, would have been nice to give more of a warning to affs who were using the games (I wasn't one of them).

It sounds like a business manager and technician knew .. but didn't think to tell the affiliate facing group about this change.

Sucks when they can't give affiliates a bit of notice. I don't think I even got the email, unless I've missed it.

Who else offers free to play games?
