Default bet365 removing player from account?

    hi guys,

I earned some decent commission in September (albeit from just one user), but on 1/10 when I went to send an invoice as is standard procedure with Bet365, they had removed this player and all commissions I had earned. My account was held and was 'under management review' preventing me from being able to request any payments etc.

I had earned £XXX in September, but October balance now shows -£XXX and new depositing accounts shows as -1. Since then, I have been unable to resolve the issue, with the affiliate manager saying it is still under review (6 weeks on). Since mid October, I've not even able to log in to my account?

    Has anyone experienced anything similar?

    Any help/advice appreciated

Normal procedure - you will get players removed from all advertisers for various reasons such as fraudulent activity. Trust me, bet365 are the most honest program out there so there's no funny business going on. I would trust in your affiliate manager, they're pretty good at explaining things, it's just that they probably need to go back to another team in their business to get the full stats and explanation of why you were dropped a player.

Put another way though, having players dropped from your account can sometimes benefit you. It's not always a negative thing. If you're dropped a player that ultimately was fraudulent then this can only help your revenues going forward.

I wouldn't say that about many other affiliate programs, as many play some funny rules around detagging players, but you can trust bet365 100% in our opinion.

The player being removed from your account is normal, I've had dozens in the past. If they have fraudulent or suspicious activity, their account will be locked and the affiliate system will temporarily remove the player from your database. Sometimes they "appear" again in the future.
But your affiliate account being locked is not normal at all, in my personal opinion.

With bet365, perhaps yes, with any other company locking affiliate accounts is very normal. Difficult to judge as all of us generally only have a sample of 1 affiliate account to pass our judgement on. I'm sure if prosport just contacts their affiliate manager they'd be more than happy to discuss over the phone or email to resolve the situation. We talk to our aff manager literally every week, if not every few days.

It happens quite often. I estimate that in "normal traffic" every 200-1000 player is problematic.

I agree that locking your account is not normal. Your account must be new and/or you have not many players probably.

I would say that is even a very generous estimate. I find more problem players than that and the number becomes even worse when you start dealing with casino players.

As everyone has said, the player is not a big issue, this will happen more often than any of us would like to see. Regarding your account being locked, have they given you a time frame as to when your account will be out of review? That is a little strange to me being 6 weeks. How are you suppose to promote them if your affiliate account is locked?

For me it is for sure high 3 figures, but it depends or kind of the traffic. Therefore I made the span 200-1K. Interesting idea, that the level of chargebacks can be even worse. Esp. @ bet365 with their tough KYC.

I had 1 player removed from my account last month, the AM said its because this player was trying to do fraud so they removed blocked him from playing at bet365.

About the earnings, you should get exactly what bet365 earned if a chargeback was made naturally you'll see it later after they found out its a fraud...

Of course, when it happened to me I was explained that the player removed because there was a problem with him (can be any problem)
and he's now in process of solving it. If the process end and the player solved his issues the account will re-appeared.

    They are very transparent

    maybe, i do not know
if there is a chargeback, they have to go and proove the KYC they did to banks through some middlemen, so I think few months is ok
but that is just my thought

Up to 6 months is a reasonable time frame, but from my 2 cases experience with bet365 last year, this was solved after 30-40 days.
