Betfair introduces iPad app

A few months ago online sports betting giant Betfair introduced an iPhone app. With iPads being all the rage now, the company has stepped up and launched an app on that platform as well.

Once again, Betfair Sportsbook & Racebook is first to market with a new technology, leading the way with a sports betting app specifically designed for the iPad. Initially available in the UK and Ireland to Betfair customers, the app brings the Betfair betting experience to iPad users, fully utilising the iPad's revolutionary functionality.

Earlier this year Betfair launched the world's first betting application for Internet-connected TVs, followed by the first betting application for the iPhone. These ground-breaking technologies, together with the new iPad app, support Betfair's strategy to be the leading Web company in the gaming sphere.

Betfair's Global Director of User Experience, Don Fotsch comments: "The release of the Betfair iPad application is another example of us offering our customers the most cutting-edge methods of placing their bets. Once more we are pushing the boundaries when it comes to adapting our products to the latest web and technology trends, reflecting our entrepreneurial roots and obsession with delivering engaging customer experiences."
