Liverpool to land Henderson
England midfielder Jordan Henderson is poised to seal a big-money move from Sunderland to Liverpool after the two clubs agreed a fee of around £20million.
The deal could also see French striker David Ngog head in the opposite direction, with Sunderland having accepted an improved offer after initially rejecting a bid of around £16million.
Henderson made his senior international bow in the 2-1 friendly defeat to France in November 2010, while he is currently getting ready to play for the Under-21s in the European Championship finals in Denmark.
Stuart Pearce's men are 4/1 with bet365 to win the title, having finished as runners-up two years ago, with Spain 15/8 and hosts Denmark 8/1.
Pearce has been handed an injury setback with Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs pulling out of the tournament due to an ankle issue suffered in the 2-0 warm-up win over Norway.

Woods ruled out of US Open
Former world number one Tiger Woods has been forced to pull out of the upcoming US Open due to knee and Achilles problems in his left leg.
Woods has failed to recover fully from the injuries which forced him to quit the Players Championship last month after just nine holes and will miss the second Major of the year at the Congressional in Bethesda, Maryland, which starts on Thursday 16th June.
The American's withdrawal leaves world number one Luke Donald at 10/1 with bet365 to win his first Major, with Phil Mickelson 11/1 to win a first US Open title and defending champion Graeme McDowell 40/1.
Woods told his own personal website: "I am extremely disappointed that I won't be playing in the US Open, but it's time for me to listen to my doctors and focus on the future."

Dilshan faces final Test KO
Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan is set to miss the third and final Test against England due to a thumb injury, with Kumar Sangakkara standing by to deputise.
The right-hander suffered a hairline fracture of the thumb on his right hand during the drawn second Test at Lord's and is unlikely to recover in time for the Rose Bowl encounter which starts on Thursday 16th June.
Sri Lanka need to win in Southampton to rescue a 1-1 draw in the series and are 8/1 with bet365 to do just that, with England 9/5 to secure a draw which would seal a 1-0 series triumph.
Dilshan, who scored a Test-best 193 in the first innings at Lord's, confirmed: "It is a small fracture. At the moment I am out for the third Test.
"I have ten days, so if it's a quick recovery it might be I can play, or else I'll give a youngster a chance and be ready for the one-dayers."

Inglis rewarded with recall
Greg Inglis and Dave Taylor are the two changes made by Queensland, who are 1/6 with bet365 to win the State of Origin series, ahead of the second game.
The Souths pair will try to help the Maroons win a sixth consecutive series next week.
Inglis has proven to selectors that he is over a hip injury, and will come in for Willie Tonga at centre. Tonga hurt his shoulder in the first game of the series a fortnight ago.
Taylor, who was 18th man in Game I, has played so well since then that he has forced his way into the 17 at the expense of Jacob Lillyman.
Queensland have kept the rest of the squad intact, with Billy Slater to start at fullback, Darius Boyd and Jharal Yow Yeh on the wings, Inglis and Dane Nielsen in the centres and Darren Lockyer and Johnathan Thurston the playmakers.
With Cam Smith at hooker, the front row will be made up by Matt Scott and Petero Civoniceva, while Nate Myles and Sam Thaiday are in the back row along with lock Ashley Harrison.
And utility Cooper Cronk and forwards Ben Hannant, Corey Parker and Taylor will make up the bench.

Katich loses out on contract
Australian cricket is entering a new era, says chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch.
While Simon Katich and Marcus North lost out on new contracts, a number of exciting youngsters have been rewarded.
New South Wales quick Patrick Cummins (18 ) and Victorian paceman James Pattinson (21) are two of the new faces, while John Hastings, Xavier Doherty, Usman Khawaja, David Hussey and Jason Krejza also received full deals after making appearances in the summer.
Hilditch says Katich in particular was very disappointed to miss out.
“It was obviously devastating for Simon. Since he went out of the Australian side then fought his way back in through weight of runs, he's been a really fantastic player for us and he's been extremely successful,” he said.
“It was a big decision, obviously really hard on Simon, but in our view the opening partnership is critical. It takes time to get a good opening partnership and we now think the time is right to make sure we've got the right opening partnership come the Ashes.”

Chapman set to face Hawks
Geelong, who are available at 2/5 to beat Hawthorn on Saturday, have been handed a boost with news that star Paul Chapman should be fit.
Chapman was ruled out of the win over the Western Bulldogs with a groin injury, but coach Chris Scott said he had trained well on Tuesday.
Scott told afl.com.au: “We expect him to be ok. It wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility that he doesn't come up, but we're really hopeful.”
Geelong hope for a similar outcome to their last meeting with the Hawks, with the two clubs meeting for the second time in seven weeks.
Scott said: “Yeah, it's a quirk of the draw. There are positives to it. We're keen to play the good sides so we can see where we’re at.
“[Hawthorn is] certainly one of those at the moment.”
The Cats came from eight points down at half time to win by 19 points on Anzac Day.
But Scott has warned his players that if they show a similar lack of effort in the first half this time, they might not be able to make up the gap.

The Atlanta Braves, 25/1 with bet365 to win the World Series, will look to solidify their improvement in the standings after the club moved into second place in the division with a victory over the Florida Marlins, who are 25/2 to finish top of the National League. Derek Lowe of the Braves and Ricky Nolasco of the Marlins are set to go in game two after Tommy Hanson got the victory in game one.

Gordon shines on first start
The finale of the three-game series should see Cole Hamels of the Philadelphia Phillies, 9/4 with bet365 to win the World Series, face Hiroki Kuroda of the Dodgers, 40/1 to head the National League standings, after the teams split the first two. Dee Gordon added instant excitement at the top of the Los Angeles line-up and the rookie shortstop will be given every opportunity to stick with the big club.
Basketball
Nowitzki to the rescue again
The NBA Finals are now down to a best-of-three series after the Mavericks, 4/1 with bet365 to win the series 4-2, made it two games apiece with an 86-83 win at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki was, well, just Dirk Nowitzki, driving the team on to the win against Miami Heat, 13/8 to take the series 4-3, despite playing with illness and injury.
