Cook hails England after winning start
Alastair Cook was happy to see England beat Sri Lanka by 110 runs in the first one-day international but warned it was "just a good start".
England next take on Sri Lanka on Friday at Headingley and can be backed at 8/13 with bet365 for another win.
The new one-day captain praised the way his side approached the game on Tuesday after a three-hour rain delay.
"The way we batted and handled the rain break was very special," said the 26-year-old.
"It's a really good start (as captain), but let's not get too carried away about how I did or the team did."
Cook, taking charge of the one-day side for the first time on home soil, especially praised man-of-the-match Jimmy Anderson after the bowler took 4-18 as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 121 after England had made 229 for eight.
"I thought it was an outstanding performance from all our bowlers but Jimmy up front...to get them 15 for four and get their danger men out got us ahead of the game," said Cook.

Tiger confident of catching Nicklaus
Tiger Woods has dismissed fears over his long-term fitness, saying he still has plenty of time to beat Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 Major titles.
Despite his injury worries, Woods is available at 16/1 with bet365 to win the Open Championship, while Lee Westwood is at 10/1 and Rory McIlroy is 11/2.
Woods is four victories behind Nicklaus and has not triumphed in a Grand Slam event since winning the US Open in 2008.
But he is confident his best golfing years are ahead of him and does not believe his career has already peaked.
He said: "I'm 35. I'm not 65. I've still got some years ahead of me. Golf is unlike any other sport. I mean, Watson was, what, 59 years old when he almost won?
"We can play for a very long time. And given that we have the health to do it, guys have succeeded for a very long time.
"That's what I would like to do, play this game for as long as I want to. I feel like my best years are still ahead of me."

Villas-Boas vows to entertain
Andre Villas-Boas says Chelsea will "win with flair" next season and is looking forward to the challenge of competing for the Premier League title.
Chelsea are now at 5/2 with bet365 to win the Premier League next season, while Manchester United are at 7/4 and Arsenal are at 15/2.
The 33-year-old, speaking at his official unveiling as Chelsea boss , also revealed he has brought in former Blues midfielder Roberto Di Matteo to work as his assistant.
Villas-Boas has signed a three-year contract and is keen to build for the future at Stamford Bridge.
He said: "It's not just about winning, but winning with a certain amount of flair. Everyone likes attacking football.
"If you see the technical staff in front of me, and my appointment of Roberto, these are people who like the quality of the game and have a philosophy.
"The Premier League has a certain amount of goals in every game and it should be an entertaining game for the fans and that is what we will look to do."

Surgery an option for Sandilands
Fremantle, who are 40/1 with bet365 to win the Grand Final, are considering sending star Aaron Sandilands for surgery.
The ruckman aggravated a toe injury during Saturday’s win over Brisbane.
The Dockers’ victory came at a cost, with Sandilands and defender Luke McPharlin both now facing lay-offs through injury.
McPharlin suffered an injured groin and is expected to miss two weeks.
And coach Mark Harvey says the club are looking at a longer-term solution to Sandilands’ problems.
The Brisbane game was his return after four weeks out with the injury.
Harvey told afl.com.au: “Aaron's re-injured the same injury, however we are going to look at perhaps sending him to Melbourne to see a surgeon.
”We might stitch it (the ligament) this time and that might be a better process … to know it would be knitted would be a lot better result.
“There's no long-term effect - that's what I did get from the doctor, so we'll try a different way perhaps this time.”
Fremantle expect to regain key defender Antoni Grover (adductor), goalsneak Hayden Ballantyne (hamstring) and Tendai Mzungu (calf) for Saturday's clash with Gold Coast at Patersons Stadium.

Trio back for Reds
A trio of players are ready to return for the Reds, who are 4/11 with bet365 to reach the Grand Final.
Wings Digby Ioane, centre Anthony Faingaa and flanker Beau Robinson have all recovered from injury in time to face the Blues in Saturday’s semi-final.
Ioane has missed the last two matches due to concussion. Faingaa suffered a hamstring tear, while Robinson has sat out three matches.
Coach Ewen McKenzie says the news is a definite boost to the squad ahead of the Suncorp Stadium match.
He told AAP: “Apart from the nine and ten, Digby touches the ball more than anyone else and runs more metres and breaks more tackles, so he's pretty important.
“Anthony Faingaa probably leads our defensive efforts every week, so there's another guy that's been pretty important to us.
“We've done well without them but, in attack and defence, they are pretty influential players for us and Beau Robinson the same.”

Buddy welcomed back by Hawks
Hawthorn, who are 7/1 with bet365 to win the Grand Final, enjoyed their best victory of the season at the weekend without Lance Franklin. But his colleague Shaun Burgoyne is happy to see the star return.
Franklin was serving a one-match suspension as the Hawks beat Essendon by 65 points on Friday.
They kicked a season-best score of 23.8 (146), with Isaac Smith, Michael Osborne, Liam Shiels and Shane Savage bagging three goals each.
But with a key clash against second-placed Collingwood to come this weekend, Burgoyne says “Buddy” will boost the Hawks’ chances as he is such a versatile player.
Burgoyne told afl.com.au: “With Buddy, he's got great endurance capacity, he's quick.
“He's played in at the centre bounce a couple of times this year, so no doubt we're going to see him up on the wings and in the middle (at stages) throughout the rest of the year.
“Versatility is a great thing for the team.”
