    Default Betting Partners (Bovada) (RESOLVED)

I've been an affiliate for 15 years and worked with Bovada/Betting Partners for just as long.

I know they are no longer a sponsor here, but I thought I would update you on what is suddenly happening.

Just recently, I have been noticing some funny stuff happening with my affiliate sheets.

Every month at the end of the month, my total deposits suddenly started dropping along with my commissions.

    It started in August..
I had 10K in commissions and like 30K in deposits (when I checked on the 20th).
Then, at the end of the month, it suddenly dropped to 2K in commissions and 7K in deposits at the end of the month.

I wasn't 100% until it happened again in September...
I took screenshots when it happened again the next month and they said it was possible fraudulent player.
So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and I paid even closer attention in October, where I took more detailed screenshots:

    On 10/17, I had (roughly):
    -8K in depoists from players.
    -2K in commissions
    -61K in total handle (action)

So, I took a screenshot of my players report.
I checked again, on the 24th.

    On 10/17, I had:
    -12K in deposits.
    -3K in commissions
    -85K in total handle (action)

At the end of the month, my final numbers were.
    -2.4K in deposits
    -$600 in commissions
    -24K in total handle (action)

So, I compared the players report from shots I took earlier in the month and compared to the EOM. That is where I noticed one of my biggest, longtime players was GONE. This is a player that has been playing for well over a year and hand thousands of dollars in deposits per month (still on the previous months reports when I run them)

I went from over 5-10K in commissions per month regularly to now just getting a few hundred dollars starting in August.

And, at the end of the month, my numbers would just change. Like I said, I contacted them at the end of last month and they suggested possible player fraud that could have caused this.

But, there's no possible way this player just started making fraudulent transactions all of a sudden. This was a long time player who is on my sheet dating back 3 years. I know he was a bitcoin depositor too.

I contacted them again as they don't have a phone number. I am waiting for a response. But, now I am really concerned that they they just don't want to pay me anymore and are just removing big players from my sheet (and just saying it was fraud even though it's not the least bit logical)

Any help you guys might be able to offer would be appreciated.

    Will keep you updated.

For bovada that commission amount is tiny, if it's one player and he accounts for your earnings then for sure you will feel the effect, I have had many players defrauding via multiple accounts, bonuses counting cards etc.. but with a large base dont see the effect too much, they are a top notch program so sure there is a explanation

Yea, well he's been a long time player and it wasn't one player previously.

I am not aggressive with Bodog and have been sending less players as of late.

This guy was a player for over two years.

Again, I am really suspicious of what's going on here.

When a player defrauds the book, how do you know it?

In July, I had over 300K of Handle and like 30K in deposits until this started..

Thats true but not in case the numbers of deposits go down suddenly in the end of each month. Once in a while possible as maybe they deduct some fraudulent player but that's not the case here.

    .

They usually tell you when you question it or have some other explanation, what have they said so far?

I think last month was my record high in terms of revenue at BP (even when some LATAM guy from whom I posted numbers here kept winning and winning, after he lost 60K 2 days ago and now he is winning again).

I asked Dana, who is aware of the situation. You are not answering her phone. So call Dana @514-589-1455.

That's around the same time when a high roller disappeared from my account also. When I didn't receive the commission that I was owed in August, I contacted support and was told that they were investigating the issue. When I didn't hear back from them for 2 weeks, I contacted them again, and was told that they were still looking into what happened to my commission. It's been a few months now, and there's been no reply, and the high roller hadn't returned.

Yea, that's not what happened here. This guy was a long time player that I actually remember personally sending because he was a pretty sizable player.

Thanks for looking out Sherlock, & congrats on the big month. I really dialed back on Bovada for September after this happened on my August reports. I was worried something wasn't right with them as I never had a problem like this in 15 years of working with them. My traffic usually spikes in September/October too & I favored other brands during my busiest traffic times this year. After it happened again on my September reports, I was on the verge of removing their stuff completely.

    Anyway....here's the latest...

    Update #1: Still Investigating

I've received a phone call today from Dana at Betting Partners. She was helpful; and it seems like she's wants to clear this up. I'm hoping she does (and I can eventually go on promoting B.P. w/ confidence).

She said she did some digging & discovered that it was an extremely rare situation. Apparently, one of the biggest players happened to be disabling his account at the very end of the month. Then, he was re-enabling it a few days/weeks in to the next month so he could start playing again. I guess he was doing it as some sort of personal budgetary measure to prevent himself from over-betting. I personally find it strange that this would cause his previous action for the month to be removed. But, she said this never happens & I guess it makes sense.

However, she did say that I was given an adjustment (the last two months) & and that emails were sent to me about it. But, the only problem is that there's no adjustments on my account for those months & I didn't actually receive any adjusted payments; nor did I receive said emails.

So, I am waiting for her follow up as she told me she was having problems with her system while I was on the phone. She said she was going to re-send those emails. But, like I said, I didn't receive any adjustments. She said she will get this squared away by tomorrow at the latest.

Again, hopefully she will actually resolve this and I will be paid properly for three months. I'd like to continue promoting them as I'm working on new affiliate sites.

Anyway.....I'll report back if/when this gets squared away. I just wanted to keep this thread updated.

I got an email back yesterday afternoon.

Update #1: Credit/Adjustment Added & Payment Next Month

She added a significant credit to my account for the two months his action was missing from my reports. So, I am happy about this.

I wont see the payment until December 15th (with November payments) as she said they already began processing of October's payments.

She told me that after the player had emptied his account (by losing), he was calling to redeposit & requesting a bonus. If they didn't offer one, he would deactivate. But, would still come back, reactivate, and deposit anyway. She said this was an extremely rare occurrence. But, it still seems like a bug that should be looked at if the deactivation was resulting in his data being removed from the EOM report. She said they were planning upgrades to their system at the EOY which should resolve this issue.

I was under the impression that Bovada offered reload bonuses. With all the competition in the states now, you would think it would be prudent to offer a big/consistent player a reload bonus (with required rollover) to keep him happy. I asked about it and she stated that it depends on the player.

Anyway, I am indeed happy that they resolved the issue and they deserve respect for this.

Will update this thread with any further developments.
