Default Betvictor - Negative rollover from 1st December

    Dear Affiliate,

Please be informed that due to changes in our company policy, as from the 1st of December 2015, all Betvictor Affiliate accounts will be subject to Negative Rollover going forward.

This decision has not been made lightly but we feel that in this changing climate of regulation and licensing it’s the only truly fair and sustainable affiliate commission model.

For the avoidance of doubt any commissions earned in November that have a negative balance will NOT be carried over into December.

    Kind regards,
    BetVictor Affiliates
Luckily I didn't really promote them but not good for anyone who does have a decent amount of customers.

I ditched these idiots a while back. So in the last couple of months we have had Skybet, BGO and now Betvictor drastically change their T&Cs more to follow suit I would imagine...

    1. c) Save as otherwise stated herein, this Agreement shall not be modified or amended except by agreement in writing by an authorised representative of each of the parties.

well good luck to them changing the terms if anyone decides to take legal action against them, pretty clear they can't just change the terms when they feel like it.

For the record, and as they obviously can't be arsed to change their t&c's in case they manage to dupe new affiliates before the first, this is from section 3

Net Revenue for the purpose of this Agreement means the total of client losses in the period
, less: All gross monies received by us in respect of all settled bets made by Customers, all casino and games wagers and poker rake after deducting; (i) monies paid out to Customers as winnings; (ii) monies paid in the form of betting duties or taxes (or reasonable provisions in respect thereof) (iii) bad debts; (iv) chargebacks and fraudulent transactions; (v) returned stakes; (vi) transactions which are reversed internally to prevent a charge-back from occurring; (vii) all bonuses; (viii) licensing fees; (ix) payment & processing fees. BetVictor retains the right to withhold commission payments or a portion thereof if it considers profits earned at are a risk of chargeback. Any amounts withheld will only be paid once a period of six months has elapsed.
Subject to clause 3.4, Affiliate is entitled to one payout per month, providing it has fulfilled the above Affiliate requirement at the end of the preceding month.

The 'period' is clearly every month, and they clearly (and correctly as per contract law - Skybet take note) state the agreement can only be changed with the agreement of both parties.

I particularly like the term "Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions however this decision is final and will not be reversed."

Most people know my thoughts on these bast*rds, but I'll re-iterate it, to anyone new to this business or who doesn't yet promote VC but has considered it, DO NOT work with this program if you value your business.

    Lucky for him. Ours ain't.

Mind you they were, by an order of magnitude, the worst performing affiliate program we ever had on our site.

5674 clicks for 2 depositors over 5 years or so. That says it all really.

Those numbers are so impossibly bad that I can't believe that there was not a failure in either tracking or honesty. Unfortunately they were unresponsive to all forms of contact. So it was no big loss and it was easiest just to blacklist them and warn people not to play at such an untrustworthy and incompetent place.

I'm 0 for 1100 clicks with them. Not even a registration.

1,400 clicks with 4 RMPs and a whopping £20 in total deposits!

I would like to add, with BetVictor, I think there was some sort of problem with their click tracking. I always got tons of clicks even though I wasn't driving major traffic to them, so don't just go off your clicks. Best thing to do is have your own click tracking if possible, or track diff sections of your site with different codes.

Having done that I found that the clicks that their program reported were not proper 'clicks' so something IS wrong with their reporting on that front. However, even when tracking the actual clicks I did send them, I still found it to be a very poor converting program and never seemed to get any traction there at all. BetVictor is in the top 2-3 the worst performing programs out of all the programs I've tried. I never made more than a few hundred quid, then they did me a favour by terminating my account without notification just to add salt in the wounds!
