Default The Biggest BTC believer, and you know him :)

This 39-year old sold everything he had for bitcoin: house, car and children's toys - now he lives on a campsite waiting for the ultimate cryptoboom.

Didi Taihuttu believes in bitcoin, and in a big way.
The 39-year-old has put his house up for sale — selling it in part for bitcoin — and now lives with his family on a campsite near Venlo in The Netherlands. All of his other items are for sale, too: the car, the motorbike, electric bikes, the children’s toys, clothing, shoes.
With the proceeds, Taihuttu buys bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, betting that it will make him rich.

Going all-in is not for the faint of heart. I envy the man's conviction, but despite the run up in bitcoin, I would personally urge him to apply that conviction to working for a better future for his family rather than gambling his life savings on the price appreciation of a new technology.

Oh well, he's winning so far

Going all in is ok, when it is about bitcoin. It is manly. Maybe a bit sooner, but...ok. Selling house or wife is extravagant but can be justified. But toys of children?

    Love it.

Dude trades crypto for a living like myself.

Is willing to bet everything he has on it, while at the same time lives a minimalist life not causing the planet any harm along the way. Has also recognised the future in the economic world.

Also probably making a killing while doing it. Technical analysis of charts isn't hard nor is reading the market once you know.

if you take all electricity poured into bitcoin, one transaction takes as much electricity as one household spends in few days or weeks (different sources use different math, but most likely it will be somewhere in between)

I could see myself doing something like this if I was single, but there's no way in hell that I would do it if I had children to raise.

He certainly will write a book while on NL safety net and will sell it for dogecoins.

What an idiot. I wish him the best of luck but money's not everything and his priorities seem a little confused.

If he's doubled his money, he should sell half now, buy his life back and watch how the other half goes.

Visionary or stupid? The only time will tell if he was right or not. One thing I must say, he has BIG balls to play with all his money

That is the financial definition of stupid. Even if it pays off, all-in with life savings and toys is stupid.

Sure man. There's a few. Right now in MTL and looking at ABY.

One I can give out for free is SPR. At 7k now and fell from 55k. One of the biggest losers. Now consolidating nicely while BTC does the same thing. We may see a temp bullrun leading up to the fork. SPR is one i'm watching one of the closest.

Yeah I agree the electricity use definitely needs to be addressed

These type of shenanigans are precursors of upcoming major crashes in the markets.

This coin has "liquidity" usually < 100K per day https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies...dcoin/#markets . Liquidity of bitcoin is like 2B + OTC dark matter.

Those 5th grade altcoins mostly always are just exit scams. The 3M "marketcap" for this coin is a joke. Price can be moved with pennies.

One thing I regret is that when Bitcoin plummeted big time like into the low $XXX or something and it seemed people weren't so interested in it anymore I let go of two really great Bitcoin domains for the industry. Not surprisingly someone else has them now.
