Default BigWin Affiliates - Closing Affiliate Accounts - Partnership

    Hi fellow affiliates!

Did anyone else receive the following email from Bigwin Affiliates:

    Dear Affiliate,

As we are sure you are aware, there has been significant regulatory intervention within the gambling industry over this past year; with a substantial proportion aimed at the relationship of Operator/ Affiliate.

Therefore, we have taken the decision to reduce our number of active affiliate accounts. Unfortunately, after a review by our Affiliate Compliance Department, we have been requested to terminate our relationship. We ask for you to please remove any promotional material that you may have for our brands. Any commissions owed to you will be processed with September payments.

We would like to thank you for your co-operation and wish you the best for the future!

    Kind Regards,
    The BigWin Affiliates Team

They did not mention what will happen with the players that we referred, and they haven't replied to our emails yet.

    Looking forward for your comments.

That email received states your affiliate partnership has been terminated.

Aside from receiving commission for August 2018 (paid in Sept 2018), when an affiliate partnership is terminated (ended/closed), any players sent who are still actively playing from Sept 2018 onwards, are subsequently lost. Hence, your final commission(s) owed will be paid in Sept 2018. You will not receive any further commission payment(s) after the aforementioned final payment in Sept 2018.

This totally sucks. Given it seems the program/casino is not closing. Instead, will continue to accept bets from your referred players.

Did you experience the same issue? Was this their reply?

    Thanks!

I'm not partnered with BigWin, never have been.

However, the email you received clearly states your affiliate partnership with BigWin has been officially terminated.

Your final commission(s) payment will be made to you in Sept 2018.

After that date, BigWin Affiliates Program will no longer pay you commission, even IF previously referred (tagged) players continue to deposit/play.

Their email response seems to indicate you did not comply to their requested Compliance demands.

We received this email out of the blue today, so we have already sent a substantial amount of players in September. We have also sent several thousands of players as we started promoting them since they opened the affiliate program. That would be a very unethical behaviour from their end!

The email states something like "Thank you for your players, but we're not going to pay you anymore", hiding behind "The Compliance Department".

This is just stealing. It seems that Big Win is a selection of some (crappy) white label brands with poor terms. I think it's just a vehicle for some affiliates to push traffic to. Running a casino business for sure is not their core business, leave alone running an affiliate program.

I think it's prudent to stay away from this kind of programs that have just white labels at different white label providers.

Stealing affiliate commission(s) isn't Kosher, regardless how it's framed.

Though (and I'm not defending them) but we've all been hammered with numerous compliance protocols over the last 12 - 14 months or so. I myself don't promote to the UK or EU, however I was at risk of having a couple of programs "terminate" my partnership, if I didn't provide KYC data. I complied as to not to kiss-goodbye to monthly commissions.

It is possible you missed a previous compliance email from them?

On the other hand, maybe the compliance issue is just a load of bollocks; an excuse to steal your players and commission. Wouldn't be the 1'st time a program has tried this cr#p. Though, that in itself seems odd, given your sending them "substantial" NDP's.

We have ensured that we are fully compliant with the marketing requirements requested by UKGC, since we have a lot of traffic from the UK. We have spent money and time doing so. So I don't know why this compliance department is involved.

Anyways I am looking forward for their reply, if they reply.

Maybe (for some strange reason) you received that email by mistake (in error, wouldn't be the 1'st time that's happened)... Reiterating, seems odd to terminate an affiliate account when said partner is delivering substantial NDP's each month... just sayin

That's why I wanted to check if there was any other affiliates affected. I hope it's the case, that they sent it out by mistake.

Never promoted this brand (and never would) but their home page clearly and blatantly advertises "lifetime revenue" so I'd sue their socks off personally.

We received a reply stating that we are still going to receive the revenue from the players we have sent them so far. That was our main concern. Seems they will behave in an ethical way after all!

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Simply SCAM.

They have silently closed a lot of aff accounts. We had no choice and put them on our blacklist and wrote negative articles.

I also received the same ridiculous email. And guess what right after they been in Amsterdam conference with a fancy booth and many people trying to recruits new affiliates... wasting people valuable time with useless meetings and promises while they are actually going to close accounts...

I also replied them (to Emma) but they are ignoring all emails. After working with them to add their brands not even 3 months passed and they sent this email.

They are fraud and scam !

    Hi,

The only solution is to blacklist all their brands and ignore their affiliate proposals. There's enough other good programmes we can work with.

    Cheers

    Hi all,

We just wanted to clarify a couple of the points raised in this thread, specifically the negative ones relating to lifetime rev share.

To clarify, all lifetime rev share deals are honoured, and payments continue to be made on a monthly basis regardless of if the affiliate account is live or not. Apologies if this wasn't made clear from the start.

A number of affiliate partnerships have been terminated, for a number of reasons, we are always available to answer your questions via email (info@bigwinaffiliates.com) should you wish to discuss your account. I'm afraid that we cannot comment on individual accounts via an open forum, but as I said, please feel free to contact one of the team with any questions.

I hope this has helped to clarify the matter and has reassured you of any payment worries.

We will be at Lisbon, as we like to have a presence at all affiliate conferences so that past, present or future affiliates can come and have a chat with us. So feel free to come and see myself or one of the team at stand C55.

    Kind regards,

    Rose.
