    Default Bingo Affiliate Deals

    Hi All,

I need some help this time.

I have a client creating a new Bingo site and asking what the best affiliate deals are out there so he can try to top them.

Could you tell me what you think are the best deals going for Bingo?

    Thanks in advance

    Gary

Well 98% is about the best so I guess your client will have to go with 99% or better....LOL

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

    Hi Gary

Are you talking about your client building a merchant site (as in they want to offer a better signup bonus than everyone else), or an affiliate site, where they are looking for the best paying and converting Bingo merchants to run?

No I think he is working with an operator and he wants to help them design a good deal for affiliates....

Sorry about the post above Gary....I was kinda joking....LOL

Personally I prefer revshare only...although I do have one bingo property I work with that pays a percentage of deposits...

....so if your group wants to beat the 98%.........LOL

There are many factors to consider....do they plan on taking us players?

Are they extremely heavily focussed on bonuses to players?

Some of the most versitile programs allow affiliates to choose the program they want to market under....and even allow them to market to players under different conditions based upon the link they use in promotions.

    Example:
Link a is a revshare only.
Link b is a cpa only
Link c is a hybrid, revshare and cpa kicker

I think one of the most important points is to be sure to design the database and affiliate program to be sure it allows for campaign tracking for each affiliate and to build as many features into it from the beginning so it doesn't have to be re-done and force a link change to affiliates later on down the road....

If a download is offered, be sure direct download links (that support campaign tracking) are also offered from the beginning.

The simplest and most effective kinds of campaign tracking are the programs that allow the affiliate to control the campaigns, such as Playtech (out of the box), most RTG's that allow the use of subgid= , or places like Rewards Affiliates or Brightshare that allow us to add the campaign directly to the link providing we follow the defined rules on character length etc...

There are also others such as those that provide a unique affid when the affiliate creates the campaign thus providing a unique url for each campaign. (this is effective, but I question if this method doesn't put an additional burden on the database server that might be avoided with other methods)

Having the SQL guys involved in the discussions even during some of the concept stages is a good thing moving forward.

And above all pay us 99% revshare....that leaves a penny for the seo guy....lol....oops maybe it should be 98% so they can keep a penny too....

I forgot to mention click tracking.

Some affiliate programs in their infinite wisdom do not think this is important to affiliates. Some know that it is important and provide click tracking, but then do not show us the campiagns associated with the clicks.

I don't know how deep you have investigated the affiliate side of things, but for ever 10 or 20 affiliates that send active and depositing plaers there will be hundreds of affiliates that join, promote the brands and work hard but never quite get to be effective at scoring players....

These affiliates are still VERY VERY valuable, they help with branding, preselling and more.

For those programs that do NOT offer click tracking these smaller less effective affiliate will likely not stay affiliates.

It's bad enough as a new affiliate to log in to check stats and not see any revenue...but when you also log in and the is nothing to look at...no clicks shown because the program doesn't provide click tracking...that's depressing...and will likely cause many affiliates to move on down the road to programs that at least show something.

    And one last thing....

If the program can't pass Affiliate Guard Dog's certification process, anything you do is a waste of time.
