Kraken came finally with explanation of the "hack": http://blog.kraken.com/post/14897618...ishing-warning
For me it is ok. I used them to buy a little bit more btc now bc of favourable price.

Google and other engines could help limit this (it wouldn't stop it completely but could help) and start disallowing any advertiser from claiming a domain different that the actual landing domain.

In kracken's example shown on the page linked by Sherlock, they clearly showed the difference but Google allows the false domain.

This is even hurting the long term business. Not using adblock nowadays is one of the biggest security holes if not the biggest. And it is not good position to have income source from ads and visitors with adblocks.

The Betting Partners change forced me to set up a bitcoin account and now I am quite pleased using BTC as a payment method and I will use it more. Sometimes change if even forced changed is good.

If you are in the EU, I suggest www.cubits.com they can do Skrill and Bank Wire from Bitcoin, and they are gambling friendly.

Bitcoin might be the future, but it shouldn't be forced on to us! To have no other payment options is just unacceptable.

I have heard rumors that other operators may go this route i cant see how that makes business sense affiliates deserve better. its becoming tougher to do business these days without more hurdles being thrown down i really feel for affiliates these days when things get forced on you its not fair.

What a nonsense. Like if the grey area operators have a choice. Bitcoin as an option is something nice in Europe. Nonregulated markets are apparently something you know nothing about.

Just making a statement is all .. I think The business is hard enough affiliates should have a choice to be told this is the way you get paid isn't fair I'm not all seeing and all hearing like some yes your correct I worked in the unregulated markets for 10 Years there's always a choice .. people should not be cornered and told this is the way we do it and if you don't like it well so be it .. I'm no expert and I don't claim to be .. especially on Bitcoins you 100% know the product and know if it works or doesn't just making a point sorry to have offended you.

Its easier for a person who knows, Trusts and works with Bitcoin to have grasp of the concept and use it to work for them but what about those people that don't have an idea should it be forced on you as an option is all I'm saying..

Just an FYI when i worked in the unregulated or None Regulated markets we could pay Via Wire, Skrill ,Neteller and a few others dependent on where our affiliates were based , We had options because our owners at the time put in the effort to find options we never had to force one option onto our clients again just saying.

Your an Advocate of Bitcoin and it works well fantastic for you and a few others but its new and maybe even scary for some it needs time to be adapted to .. people need to learn about it and be educated about it not wake up one morning and be told thats your only option

No, you are off. Things get exponentially harder each year. After Panama leaks even bitcoin haters changed. It was said numerous times even here.

Sorry, no hard feelings, but your "statements" are worthless. I am upset, because I am just repeating what I said and what I said are facts. No, it is not that I know Bitcoin. It is more about knowledge of international banking and consequences. If it is not still somehow clear to you, let me repeat it for for example BP. They had Skrill shut down. Then they had Neteller shut down. They had to change banking accounts all the time. Same with money processors. The adventures of Calvin are I think well known. But then in 2016 another hits came. It was not possible to go like that anymore.

This "option" talks are real nonsense. There is the only option now: to close the shop or pay in btc, if you do it on larger scale. If you think unregulated markets in 2007 or before are the same then no, they are not. The 2017 banking is even way different and much worse for people and business than in 2016. Bitcoin is not some fancy toy for options. Like if you can choose between SEPA and SWIFT.

I wish you well Sherlock I mean no harm I come in peace.. People are free to have opinions and I'm proud to have mine where you believe they are nonsense or worthless in your eyes I have better experiences and have faith that BT isn't the only option more and more markets are being regulated every day and hopefully we will reach a point where unregulated is history.

When your company is a fraction of the size of BP its easier to process a few hundred thousands dollars a month in Affiliate Payments via multiple methods. BP affiliate payments must be in the high 7 figures, low 8 figures each month, couple that with player payouts and its massive. Moving that type of money around each month is not an easy feat, so as an affiliate while at first I hated the idea of accepting bitcoin as my payment method, but knowing they are doing this to ensure my players can continue playing for years to come generating me revenue, I will make the extra effort and work with the Bitcoin.

I still have money sitting into an an exchange called KRAKEN that was recommended by one of my programs. I had no problem getting them to exchange my Bitcoin to US $$ and then make a deposit, but now trying to get it out is impossible. Seems the only way to withdraw is to become a tier 3 which I am having a hard time with and 12 days of emails only gets me generic emails back.

There are more ppl now complaining about Kraken CS. In Bitcoin world everything changed during last few days, so probably they have a lot of new accounts or so.

Either way you should be still able to withdraw Bitcoins and send them to another exchange?

It is a good idea to post on Reddit or here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290799.0
    It speeds up the process

So far I've never had problems with Kraken. Sell my bitcoin for Euros and withdraw to my bank account within two days. However, I am tier 3 verified.

Kraken is far the best, but only for EUR<->BTC. The USD, CAD and GBP markets are much less liquid and I read only about probalem with banking in non EUR currency.

Well I have certainly learned a bit about Bitcoin on this forum. Thanks Guys and Gals for that. I think the gambling industry as a whole will move further towards promoting the use of BTC because it is ideal. I say that, after people get their head around it. True it is not regulated, no you cannot buy BTC in a bank but times are likely to change in my opinion. I can see Bitcoin continuing to stand out as the primary virtual currency.
