Did you click the link checking for any aff tag. Wasn't there an affiliate manager last year got caught detagging players and retagging them to his own affiliate account? Could just be a more sophisticated way of doing the same sort of thing.

Yep, there was one, but that was at Betsson (check: http://calvinayre.com/2015/11/28/bus...stealing-153k/) , not at this affiliate program.

That works better, yes. With active cross-selling there's always a chance that an affiliate notice it with a test account or if an affiliate has his own account. In the Betsson case no traces are visible, just a lot of strange things happening with big depositors.

I sent Miles a PM yesterday alerting him of this thread and asking for a response.

edit: However, as Aidan points out below, Miles does not work for the brands mentioned. Apologies on my part.

Hehe, true. This is not about Fast Track.

I got an update. I got a mail from the program stating they checked all accounts that were tagged to me and they compared them with the database of the other online casino. They found 2 hits. One account was registered already before they were registered at the casino I am promoting through my link. The second one is tagged at another affiliate, because he clicked a link at another website.

They are willing to share additional data with me so that I can verify it and they apoligize again for what is happening.

It's not that I am not believing them, it's more the way the first mails were responded...

True. To me he seems fair too. That's why I didn't name the brand in the beginning, because I couldn't imagine them doing things like this. But after het first answers in the first mails, I was like

The last mail he explained things and he is willing to send me evidence to verify it. Ok, I accept his apologizes than and I hope it won't happen again. In this case it didn't affect me and what happend (by accident it seems) cannot be turned back...

The only instance where I can see this being fair for the operator to cross market without the affiliate tag is for CPA players that have already made a qualifying deposit and the CPA payment has been triggered to the original affiliate, at this point I would consider that the operator owns this player and is free to do what they please with the player.

In any other instance, the tag should follow the player from brand to brand.
