Breakout Coin and Breakout poker

I have been gone for quite sometime and only popping in and out for the last few years. But has anyone heard about or done much with the new digital currency BreakoutCoin. They are doing a crowdfunding for the new coin and wanted some other peoples thought on it. I have already bought some in hopes it will be a success like bitcoin. They even have a poker room that is giving away a chance at few coins at breakoutpoker.net They don't seem to be doing anything affiliate related yet, but seem to have plans for bigger stuff soon.

I was really hoping I would see some other feedback on here. I have even seen some pros sign on and have been doing some bounty tourneys with them, where you can win breakout coin. On the list of brand ambassadors they have Johnny Chan, Jennifer Harmon and Todd brunson just a few I saw on there. If nothing else would like some thought on the coin as I was late to bitcoin party.

It is a little bit too adventurous for me. Bitcoin has not been implemented yet, it is far from certain it will be implemented or widely accepted (fingers crossed that yes) and we (and customers) have to go with hundreds of altcoins? Even if one of hundred altcoins will make it through (I doubt it very much), it should appreciate by 10000% to be break even. It is not a bet I want to take. Bitcoin is 1st, so it will be a bitcoin, if anything to make it through.

I have already bought some in hopes it will be a success like bitcoin.

Those two statements are absolutely crazy and false. You are just another guy who just invented cryptos and is blinded by his own greed. You are wrong. Nobody is late to jump into bitcoin now. It is just this greed that fuels unrealistic expectations from people over and over again (it can be altcoins or new domain extensions or affiliate business itself etc.)

Well with bitcoin, I don't have 700 laying around to try buy. But with this it was cheap and guess I treat it like a lotto ticket in hopes of hitting big. I did find this post over at bitcointalk

Trust me I am not smart enough to invent a crypto coin. But with bit coin I am seeing it more and more widely accepted. I have even seen that dell.com is allowing you to pay with bitcoin.

No offense, but if you do not have 700 usd, you should consider work instead of blind investing into something you have no clue about. And ff you want to invest into something, then of course you have to have much more than the amount invested to afford loses. So to invest 700 usd into something extremely volatile (and for 99.99% destined to go under) like F-grade cryptocoin, your bank should be like 700K.

If you do not like to work, then you can start to study. For example that you do not need 700 to buy the whole bitcoin. You can buy fractions too.

Sorry, but I think any discussion here is little bit pointless. You have no money, you do not know what is bitcoin and you want to invest in some cryptocurrency that even does not exist. It is your life ofc, but from my experience I can only say that this kind of thinking does not end well. promoting this to people, who actually have hard earned money makes no sense too. It is my last post here.

I work a full time job, plus some affiliate stuff. Plus have custody of 4 grandkids, And do have an idea what bitcoin is and do have bitcoin as well. Not all of us are super affiliates. This wasn't about promoting it was finding out if anyone had any thoughts on the matter. I was thinking about bitcoin when it was in its baby stage is all, and the chance that something else might take off. Haven't we all taken a risk when we signup for an affiliate program, how many of us been burned by a program that we thought would never happen.
But to be insulting is quite unnecessary.

Are you going to "come clean" with us Dgoin - and officially state your interest / stake in Breakout ?
The interest level is way above a "casually interested" person. Just be honest - and we can discuss this openly.


I've spent 20 minutes reading about Breakout - and it seems unnecessarily complicated with multi-currencies and quite a complicated system for proof-of-work and proof-of-stake calculations. Interest payments, and variant coins.

The overwhelming feeling I get is that the proprietary instigators are simply trying to get someone / anyone to use the coin so that they can become "extremely rich" with all their "free coins" that they awarded themselves at startup.

I really don't see why this alt-coin will be a success - but then my eyes started to glaze over after about 15 minutes of the techno-speak.

Not working for him but did buy the coins because he was involved. He has had a successful track record. Don't think his involment was ever hidden. Sorry for the late replies I hadn't been back over in a while. Didn't see much point after some of Sherlock comments, and wasn't seeing any other feedback. I did state my interest in the very first post and was kind of discouraged after that. But I have hopes for the project and want to see it succeed. And as chip noted Gian is involved which the project always point out. And Yes I do know Gian and have for several years, and sure many others have dealt with him over the years.
