Hi all, does anyone know of any decent spots to arrange to meet people within the conference?

Normally I say, we'll meet in the bar or we'll meet in the bar then find a nice pub or lets grab a 2 litre bottle of cider and we'll head to the park.

In this case, I dont know of any places within the conference centre to say sure, lets meet here. The main entrance is pretty obvious but how far is this from the conference itself?

    Can anyone help me out?

Is that your way of saying you are serving hard liquor over there, and everyone looks amazing after a few shots?

    Hey Marty,

I have been looking for something as well, this might help. Massive map I came across with hotels, restaurants and touristy type things on it:

Thanks Trish that does help but I was also looking for points within the conference. Such as a .....err....oh maybe a bar or something.

Or an area with tables that we can sit and discuss things.

An eye candy sandwhich with a shot sounds like a decent compromise!

This is exciting! I really hope you guys have a great time!

Alex, are any programs booked and have paid that are currently marked predatory at affiliate guard dog? Please take a look. This is an affiiliate conference, no? You wouldn't allow aff programs that are enacting predatory terms, would you? There is due dilligence, yes?

You havn't forgotten us affiliates have you? There is an affiliate crisis going on right now. Is anyone aware of this?

And what about affiliates that are NOT attending? Is conferences what money is spent on? Therefore, new predatory t/c's? Can't blame a girl for asking!

Are affiliate programs so flat broke that they are enacting predatory, retroactive terms yet turning around and spending THOUSANDS on a conference?

Rucy, you got some 'splainin to do! LOL

I'm positive you don't like my questions but I ask anyway. Thanks guys for listening! I hope we don't find 'conferences' in the unethical behavior forum.

Indeed an affiliate conference and some good questions IMO Mojo. If Alex is the advocate for such events it sounds reasonable for him to ask the tough questions plaguing affiliates.

Almost the whole iGBAFFILIATE Aug/Sept 2009 MAG issue appears to hold the affiliate in high regard. Therefore it sounds reasonable to get some affiliate concerns addressed, no? Otherwise it would appear our interests are secondary.

The reason I prefer the smaller ones stuff gets done. Much like the one held in Niagara Falls recently or the one Jack maybe having in Costa Rica.

Okay I will shut up. Be in the area and just may be attending.
