    Question

Since neither me or my partner ever attended an affiliate conference I gotta need some assistance over here

We registered on the BAC website but didn't receive any formular or sth. that we could show at the entrance or wherever to get access to the conference...

Think we bumped it up huh? Anyone knows if it's just okay to show them an ID card to get in?

    Hey There,

If you got that email that is fine, just bring it with you as it has a reference number and we can give you the badge from that either on the Thursday in pre registration or at the event at the main registration. If you lose the email, don't worry as we can still find you in the system, it just takes longer

You should have also got another email recently that has a bar code but if you didn't don't worry it only speeds up the process so you don't have to wait so long.

Look forward to seeing you there.

    Default Pafpartners.com attending

Will be fun to visit Budapest again, even though I just came back from that town 1 week ago from a private trip there. Great food, some nice sightseeing and fairly cheap.

Was a really good conference there last year even though the conference center is a bit far away from the hotels even with the free buss.

Hope to see you all there and maybe challenge one or two on a backgammon game

    Cheers
    Henrik

Great conference. Kudos to Alex and team.

Now time to sleep since I have to get up to go to the airport in six hours.

I got back home last night, so here are my impressions about this year's BAC:

It was less busier than last year.
AMs were less aggressive. We weren't stopped every 5 minutes by someone asking to promote them. This was a good thing for us as we do sportbooks, so we didn't have to explain all this to all the casino AMs.

The conference rooms were great, I really liked that you could actually hear the presentation (in Prague there was too much background noise and you could overhear the conference room right next to you). The 'tents' above the conference room were also a great idea.

The first party was great, I like the Creol bar. We didn't attend the second party at Dokk. The closing party at 5Kert was ok, but I prefer private parties. As I speak Hungarian, I could hear a couple of stupid comments from locals about us affiliates.

About the ASOP: although I didn't play, my colleague did. I know there were a bunch of guys playing who weren't actually affiliates (ok, one of them was, all the others were friends of this guy). Some better verification would be nice.

Event went really well and we actually had around 100 more people than last year but I think as they spread themselves over the two days as opposed to all hitting the first day it may have given the feeling it was not as busy....But so far all good feed back from sponsors and delegates...

@vmlinuz - The ASOP is monitored very carefully for legal reaons but if an affiliate's friend registers with a domain and then emails from that domain and has the answers to general affiliate type questions there isn't much more we can do to verify them or not much I can think of....Only thing I would ask is if you know their name or the site we can stop this happening in the future.

Does anyone know who made the pictures on Saturday evening? There was a guy running around with a video camera making both pics and videos but I cant remind his company anymore due to several... uhm... drinks
