Default Bwin removes (steals?) balance from cashier

I just received this email (subject: "Account Inactivity") from Bwin, a company I don't promote apart from a very old orphan review page as they have a reputation in recent years as crooks:

    Dear partner,
We've noticed you've not used your affiliate cashier for quite a while, so to keep your funds safe, we've shifted them into a temporary. more secure holding account. If you have any queries, please get in touch with us at support@bwinpartypartners.com Your bwin.party partners team

When I log into the cashier it shows they have removed the balance of $661.24 from the cashier today and marked it "transferred to - hold".

Obviously I have sent an email requesting the money back into cashier so I can withdraw, but I know Bwin have a reputation of never answering emails and being very affiliate unfriendly.

Does anyone have any experience of having money stolen from their cashier by Bwin in this way or any direct contacts there of people who aren't total idiots?

Had to laugh at the use of the wording "secure holding account"

Ummm yeah , like that's their very own corporate account that the money is in at the moment. They are hoping that you never contact them obviously.

Will do. Likewise, let us know if you get a response.

I am not bothered about the sum, but if they do steal the money I will turn my review super-negative and link to it from every page on my site. If you stole $660 worth of goods from a shop you'd end up in prison - but in this business public companies can steal from affiliates with little repercussion apart from perhaps tarnishing their brand name. In common with most brazen crooks, bad publicity has never seemed to matter to Bwin.

    I got a reply

Please login to the Partycashier and confirm the amount you want to reverted. You can check the transactions history for the same.

Once you send us the details we will raise a request with the relevant department.

If you have further questions and/or concerns, we will be glad to assist you.

I did not receive a reply, but have logged into cashier and asked them (via the contact form in there - which I assume we both did by email anyway) to return funds asap. Please update if / when you get your money returned.

Same here - I had pointed this thread out to them. Maybe the power of GPWA strikes again.

I never let money accumulate in an affiliate cashier. Withdraw what you have as soon as you can I say.

Bwin is the typical company that thinks they can do anything due to their huge popularity.

However, as triple7 said they are pure clowns and have bad affiliates support and many issues... Be careful.

"We've noticed you've not used your affiliate cashier for quite a while, so to keep your funds safe, we've shifted them into a temporary. more secure holding account."

"We've noticed you've not used your leaf blower for quite a while, so to keep your neighbours safe, we've terminated your tenancy agreement and replaced all of the locks."

    Bwin are really nice guys.
That is the reason why also customers are full of anger in my country.
There are so many examples ...

I do not know why so many people talk bad about party/bwin. We work with them for many years together and they are the only one who never paid even 1 day to late. And we talk here about really big amounts. I wish everybody would pay and work so good like party/bwin. But that is just my personal opinion.

It is really interesting why affiliates have such different experiences.

To be honest, Bwin have been pretty good since joining Party a couple of years ago now. Well, apart from the first initial few months of takeover its been all smooth since.

Yes, Bwin's RNG still served the longest phase of Black Jack regarding bust I've ever seen.
Nearly 70 hands in a row without bust for the dealer.

    The actuarial expectation is 28%.

Everything is possible in gambling, but there is still a difference if a Reverend is asking for a knife or a butcher.
