Poker is coming to US, and the Vegas operators will take it over completely right at its start. It was expected to happen this way.
It's just a beginning. Other poker rooms will follow it soon.
Now for the million dollar question, will they use affiliates? My gut feeling is they won't since many of the bigger affiliate programs are not that dependant on affiliates any more.
I believe they will market it the same way they market their land-based casinos. A lot of offline marketing, and a lot of online media buys, and probably a refer a friend program...but does Caesars really need affiliates?
