Calling out all Google + Experts :) Advice please

I am starting my Journey into Google +, do we have any experts on here?

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram already work for me, but g+ is a different beast.

How do you pick up a natural following here?
Can you advertise just in G+ for followers?

If anyone has advice on best ways to hit g+ will be good, going to work hard over the coming weeks to nail this.

I like G+ but it is very difficult to pick up a natural following. G+ 'likes' are always a fraction of what Facebook Likes are. I used to post my latest reviews onto G+ but someone reported me and Google suspended the account! Use with caution, you may find it is a lot of work for very little return.

This also happened to me. My account was suspended for promoting a regulated product, or something like that. What a joke. It's not like I was promoting crack cocaine. Seriously!!

Crack is NOT regulated so you should be fine there.....gambling and controlled substances like drugs (that only the big drug companies that paid off the fda people get to sell) are restricted....sheesh....

Join groups and comunites and share ther. Comment and like other people posts, and others will so the same. There is a. Thread someone to like others googole plus page and they will like urs back.

Google plus is seriously an important factor to increase the visibility of your website.I had started using Google plus 3 months ago and up to now only 14 followers are following my profile or my page.It takes time to increase your views and followers.The main things you have to do is to use #hash tags,it is the primary factor and it is really conducive for website main key terms, it is clickable, lead to information about keyword and site.Post relevant and quality contents only .Don't run behind quantity of posts.Only do 2 posts daily but that must be great quality wise. Try to join more communities and groups where you want to target your audiences.Don't use links to your website daily,just put one link in two days.Post images related to your content. Start following people with the same business pages and maybe you can get follow from someone but don't follow fake and irrelevant pages. At last the main thing is that,Quality matters the most.Post something unique and eye catchy content.Try to engross other users of the G plus through your posted images, content and information.

What's your aim with presence on Google+?

If it's sportsbetting or sports related I would think that you should be good. If it's outright gambling it'll probably be very difficult to get a natural following. And there are tons of "fake" profiles that were created just because they could get their avatar in SERPs as a rich snippet.

The best way to do it is if you focus on something that you are interested in or has some kind of expertise within - if not, why would people follow you?

#Hashtags are not that important IMO - G+ is pretty good at adding hashtags automatically, and I think we all know it quickly becomes quite spammy when you enter 6-8 hashtags becuase YOU deem that to be important. But by all means use them - to an extent.

When posting - use images. Don't just post links, but add some unique content to the post. Share other people's interesting content, comment and help - just like you would do if it was IRL or on a random affiliate forum.

I share posts, I upload images, I repost, I comment, I reply, I join on communities. In short, I interect and participate.
The key to be successful in using social networking sites it to actually engage.
That's how I gain followers on google+ and same goes to every social networking sites.

Have been using g+ for about 6 months now but I'm not really getting results compared to my Facebook and Twitter. Can I hire a G+ expert to help?

I have also used G+ for a while to post new content but I also did not see any results or improvements. Maybe I did it wrong but I am in general not a big fan of advertising in social media channels.
