The reason is, in 1957 the Canadian parliament set the second Monday of October as Thanksgiving day to close the harvest season.
Hey Steve is been a long time buddy, but I had one to many things going wrong, the wife is going back to the same Hospital they found a precancerous 6x11 cm lump in her left breast so next Thursday she is starting 26 radiation treatments, I hope this is the last one, by the way how is your father Steve?

Jesus - I am sorry to hear that. 26 treatments? Wow - my father had that many. Will she be staying in hospital or just going as an out patient?

Let me know so I can come by like last time. Nights are great due to parking! I can park easier at night and we can go for coffees and things.

My Dad hes struggling - he was in the hospital for a month and had massive surgery (almost did not make it) and is somewhat ok now. I was there everyday for those few weeks but on the other side in the General Hospital. I was always thinking of you then cause i recall we connected those few nights and had some good talks (my hatred for Europartners - haha). I should of called you then but i have a new i phone and lost all my old numbers.

Were in the same city so we should hook up! call me when your down there - well go eat at Heroes - my treat! - love that place.

I expect my dad to be back soon - his C come back every 6 months and they just remove it. Seems to be like that the last 5 years. He has other issues though related to COPD - he refuses oxygen and i get worried!

Anyways buddy!! Happy thanksgiving - give you wife a big hug for me and wish her well. I am around (when i have the car) to come around anytime.

Happy thanks giving day Canada I wish I was in Canada, I love a good roast turkey dinner lol So sorry to hear about your wife Tony, I hope she is okay after those treatments. Hopefully next year will be much better for both of you.
