CAP Euro Conference and GPWA

This year, immediately following the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) show in London, the new CAP Euro conference is being held. It begins with a party Thursday Evening, January 25th, and continues with conference sessions, exhibitors, more parties, and a Poker tournament over the following three days.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the conference, and I encourage every GPWA member to attend. The conference is free for all GPWA portal webmasters who register in advance at www.capeuro.com.

We are working closely with CAP to ensure the conference is a success for everyone involved. Having a strong cooperative relationship between our organizations is an important goal of mine. In addition to our promoting the conference through both Casino City and the GPWA, CAP is working with us to make the GPWA an important part the conference

After the chairs' opening remarks, I'm giving the first presentation at the conference on Friday from 9:45 to 10:30. Quoting from the conference website, the talk is titled "GPWA Overview of US Changes", and the description is "GPWA Executive Director Michael Corfman discusses transitions in the online gaming industry relating to online gaming sites accepting and not accepting play within various jurisdictions and gambling portal site demographics."

We will also have a GPWA stand at the conference so we can spread the word about what the GPWA has to offer.

I look forward to a very successful conference, and to seeing many of you there.

Michael
