Default Are CAP events family friendly?

I was thinking of taking y girlfriend to the CAP Spring Break conference. This would be my first one, and I don't know if they are "family friendly".

Are these the kind of events you can take a girlfriend? It would be great if we would both have a great time.

yes you can bring her with you,
just sign her up / registrate her seperatly , and in the comments field you mention she is your girlfriend/family/spouse

I asked Alex on 2 occasions this, and accordingly was his answer

The conventions seem to be focusing more and more on pleasing male affiliates. eg. scantily or non clad women as entertainment.

Depending on the nature of your girlfriend, it may be something she'd rather not attend.

I remember the pictures posted from one CAP Spring Break, and a good portion of them were of the rear ends of a promotional group of bikini clad women.

The last CAP even featured women wearing nothing but gold paint.

Nope, I wouldn't call them family friendly.

i did bring my wife to Barcelona and my son to London (and yes, his jacket had gold dust on it)
and one of my daughters is accompaining me to Cyprus)
they both enjoyed the trip, and meeting Alex Pratt and the free food and the nice hotel, and learned more about the business..
(my wife kept on asking "who is paying all this??")

but ...., i am from the Netherlands...
    what else can i say?

    Hi all (W),

my experience (1 time) was in Vegas so it wasn't really what I'd call family friendly in terms of kids and I doubt considering the theme of our industry that there will be a whole lot for kids to do inside the event.

I'm not even sure where its at but if the location is family tourist orientated then I'm sure kids or females that don't want to attend cap can find plenty to do.

If you're asking in terms of will they be friendly to you because of any past issues between this forum and that one? Absolutely. I think you'll find them quite good people.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

    I think there's a different between "family"-friendly and "partner"-friendly.

CAP is something I can't see taking the kids to. But a partner? Definitely, male or female.

How many of you females who have been to a CAP event felt intimidated or out of place? Personally I think the ladies were given more attention than the males...

Let me give you a real-life paradox. Many of you know about Thailand's girlie bars - but I bet none of you know that when a wife or a single woman enters, they get treated like gold...

Thanks for your input. The woman I plan on taking is not a prude by any means, it's just since I've never been to one. I've seen the promos and the "gold" dust, which I'd have on my jacket too!

It's great to have some input, thanks guys!

Our events are 100% partner friendly and much more so with the Poker Conference and SpringBreak which has always been a family friendly environment.

Ask anyone who has attended an event and they will say so - Loads of affiliates bring partners to these and yes now and again people hire promo girls but this is a massively small part of the event although of course people love to take those pictures and post them so often it looks a lot more than it is.

If you have any questions please let me know - I am always happy to help

Yes. all CAP events are family friendly. I have been bringing my family to CAP Spring Break for years. There is plenty of things for the kids and significant others to do. The evening parties are often held in bars so they are NOT suitable for the kids, but all the venues we stay at tend to have kids clubs or sitters.

BB1 you have never attended a CAP event as far as I know. I have no idea why as they are free and alot of fun and allow you to network with the programs and have a great time with your friends from online. Las Vegas was always a CAC event and not comperable to a CAP Event.

Fergie EVERYONE has a great time at our events and we do not go out of our way to make them male or female oriented. Come to CAP Spring Break and check us out. If you want to help organize a Ladies Only/ Female geared event or party we will be happy to help and will either find a sponsor to offset the costs or we will pick up the tab. Fair enough?

I brought my 20 yr old and her friend to the Bahamas and they had a blast! I know several aff managers and affiliates that bring their other half and I know that myself and everyone else are very friendly towards them.
