Casino Ads on TV in your country?

I'm kind of curious of what for online casinos are beeing advertised in TV and radio in your country... And since here are members from several countrys it would be interesting to see what online casinos advertise where...

In Germany :
betandwin.com - sportsbetting
and some local landbased casinos

no online casinos
no online poker
no online bingo

what for gamingsites are beeing advertised in your country via TV or other media?

Nothing on the ground based TV's, but if we talk about satellitte then there is a bunch.
The poker rooms are most advertised.

Here, in Czech Republic, it's only Betandwin.com, in TV. No online casinos or poker rooms. And there are a lot of discussion about betandwin.com's ads, if the advertising of online betting is legal or not...

Party Poker, Full Tilt Poker, Paradise Poker, Poker Stars, all .net of course. I also think I seen a prima network casino featured on a televised tournament, possibly Royal Vegas Poker .tv

News storys give sites like Sporting Bet lots of free press. A few years ago I used to see Fortune Lounge casinos advertised frequently on late night TV.

Why "all .net of course."? Why they don't advertise for .com?

They use the .net as the free site to play (legally advertising free games site). The .com is the play for real money site and is not in the ads.

I have seen ads here for Riverbelle also.

the last two days i saw in germany the first time PartyPoker Spots on a major german TV channel.

Thats the first poker advertisement on german TV I have seen ever....

They're doesn't seem to be a lot of TV advertising in the UK. Not that I've noticed anyway.

I have seen one of two ads for poker rooms but that's it and they tend to be tagged to the late night poker programmes that are on TV.

I've seen the various poker rooms advertised on TV here in the
United States, but I haven't seen any casino ads for a very long time.

On the Norwegian government funded TV they advertise norsk-tipping.no, football, norsk-lotto, Viking Lotto, and V75 horses, these are the big 4. Basically norway is just one big gambling nation, they advertise the big 4 on TV, radio, all newspappers have a section dedicated to odds, results and the like. Just about every kiosk you go into you can pick horses, bet on football, or play the fruit machines. As long as the gambling money stays in norway and a precentage of the proceeds go to a "good cause" it's all good. Last year 4% of norwegians spent 9 billion kroner on fruit machines. The big debate now is should these machines be taken out of the stores?
One thing is for sure is that the norwegian government hates online poker rooms, casinos, and websites like ours, because last year 2.2% of Norwegians gambled almost 7 billion kroner on internett gambling. This is obviously lost income for Norsk tipping, and the norwegian goverment has already made attempts at limiting online gambling by blocking norwegian credit card transactions to online casinos and poker rooms. Crazy. All I know is the day they decide to shut down my gambling portal is the day I'm heading back to sunny california.
