A player at PartyCasino named GAMAGO won the $4,978,336.62 jackpot in December '09. Within 1 month he allready lost $2 million of his winnings according to Finance director Martin Weigold of PartyGaming.

I remember waiting in a casino for JTodd (he take longer than a girl to get ready) playing some slots, it was my first trip to Vegas. I hit a $1200 jackpot, then I was staring at the machine thinking should I play some more, since I still had time. When a older gentleman to my left said to me, "the smart man walks away". I indeed walked away. I have always remembered that.

Looks like our friend should learn to walk away. Don't be greedy.

It was arguably idiotic to play on after winning 50k, then 100k.

What can you do? What can one say, even if in agreement?

To tell the man to stop playing now, is the same advice one may have given when he won the 50k.

I'm surprized by that but can tell you I suspect he didn't hit much afterwards and got stupid about it...lol. I once hit $113K on the slots at PartyCasino and after that it was like I was in a lake bed in the desert!!

No matter what hand I had at the tables I'd lose and I mean EVERY HAND!! The slots went cold, colder than a Canadian winter....and that is friggen cold...lol...and i'd know since I am one and wife makes me keep puter in garage even in winter because apparently, and I think exceptionaly unreasonably, she finds the smell of smoke toxic!....lol

This went on for months and months and considering how much I played before and after my big win I knew it was not normal at all!!

So am I surprized ...nope, not really but am pleased to note that I was no fool and stopped playing way b4 I lost it all....lol....see men evolve!!!....lmao!!

If the guy is married then I hope his wife doesn't find out! Can you imagine a loved one winning that much and then losing it all?

I hope an affiliate got a commission on those losses. That would be one for the record books.

This has been discussed before, first of all progressive jackpot winnings should not put the affiliate in question in the negative ever. Because the jackpot money is already accounted for.

Second of all... doesn't Party have a no-negative-carryover policy ?

Never won 2 million but have hit $100,000 twice and both times i cashed out and bought something that cost alot more than 100k .god that would make me sick to play 2 million back lol.
