Thumbs down Casinopedia.org - Cheater people

Hello everyone,Does anybody write for Casinopedia.org? If so, I recommend you stop immediately. They are not going to pay you later down the line, and will ignore your requests for payment once they have earned your trust.

I've started working with their site's team in January 2017, and initially, they paid following the completion of a project, and had lots of work to offer. More recently, I completed a small job for them in November, and a considerable one for them in December. After sending them the invoice, they sent me information about a new rule that they have conveniently created that says they only pay 30 days after receiving an invoice.

After contacting their financial department, they promised to pay me. By February, and after 40-50 e-mails, I was told that the site would pay for November and not for December . They had already published the material I created for them on their website, despite not replying to my request for payment. It's April, and they still haven't paid, and now they are not replying, or they have blocked my emails altogether. They had my $795.

Casinopedia is not to be trusted.

Hopefully they respond to this thread, have you thread contacting any of these people? https://www.casinopedia.org/author, it may also be worth contacting them from a different email at editors @ casinopedia.org.

Then if all else fails contact their registrar at abuse@godaddy.com, I've gotten some results in the past doing something similar.

    Default Not Good at All

Wow, Neha - I think that truly is a disgusting thing to happen if this is the case and I'm not saying it is not, but there is always 2 sides to a story. If they have indeed gone ahead and published your work and not paid then there really is no excuse not to pay you.

Apparently, this site is owned by a big figure in the gambling industry so I am hoping that this is all a misunderstanding and that you get your cash in due course.

Nothing worse than being scammed for work delivered in good faith.

I believe they are charging significant amounts to be on the site so really no excuse for this kind of behaviour if it is true.

As I have said, I sent roughly 40-50 e-mails throughout this period. I received 4-5 replies telling me they would sort things out, such as...

"I've managed to push through a payment, which should cover the work you did in November. I'm still working on a resolution to the December Bill."

    Also...

"I'm positive this will be cleared, and apologies for the delay. I will come back to you early next week and hopefully with a resolution."

And after that, I did not receive a reply. I was under the impression that they would certainly pay, but it was not forthcoming. After, I kept trying to get in touch with them via Skype, their contact pages, through my contacts, but all in vain. I have proof of their conversation with me, and I can show whenever it needed. I just want the money I am owed, and do not want any bad blood with anyone, just a touch of professionalism, and to be paid what is due.

You should publish the email they used in contacting you. I am having similar experience with max exposures and webpals and if I remember correctly they were promoting Casinopedia.org as well.

Just thinking, can you imagine if an affiliate program screwed an affiliate like this. People would be up in arms, if this situation is true, it is a disgusting thing to do to people.

Can anyone who knows the owners of CasinoPedia point them in the direction of this thread. I'm finding it hard to fathom why a site like that would not pay a content writer what is due to them. I am sure they would not want their brand besmirched by this kind of thing.

    Red line right there.

Operators have a reason to delay payments for affiliates because of credit card fraud etc., but it makes no sense to haggle content writers. It's like a customer going to a store and filling up the bag with candies and then asking the owner to bill him after 30 days.

Only a 50% chance they will pay; might as well be forced to since this thread will rank in google under their brand name under Casinopedia Review.

A BS excuse of missing email, blah blah, and the OP may get paid in the end.

    Good luck, either way.

If this is still not resolved you could also publically address Casinopedia on their twitter:

    https://twitter.com/casinopediaorg?lang=en

Along with contacting the affiliate programs they are promoting, and pointing them towards this thread.

    Here are a few:
    http://www.activewins.com/home/
    http://www.galaxyaffiliates.com/
    http://www.excelaffiliates.com/
    https://www.dunderaffiliates.com/
    https://tradaaffiliates.com/
    http://www.yetiaffiliates.com/

I see they have also had an article recently published in the Mirror, or have paid for a link it appears:

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-new...ice=responsive

Another option is to contact the sites with links pointing to them, to let them know they are promoting a scam site (reference this thread again). Just do up a short email and copy/paste it into their contact forms/ to their email address, casinopedia should lose a few links that way.

Here is a list of of sites linking to them, I've ordered them by TF, so start from the top if I was you:

    https://pastebin.com/4Cps0307

Use something like this to open multiple urls.

And PM me if you want any help.

For the record, Neha has worked with me for years now. She's always been legitimate so I believe this, even though the site in question is so high profile that it makes no sense over such a small amount of money.

    Thank you, Eddie
You’ve always been very nice and kind to me whenever I’ve needed you. I am grateful that you come to me for assistance with your work. This kind of behaviour builds a strong relationship and trust between us. Regardless of how some people see me, you’ve treated me as a talented, experienced person, I would like to thank you for always being there. It means a lot.

I don’t have any grudges against anyone, I just want my hard earned money, I am feeling bad if I am creating a bad image of those people as I have worked since a year with them and they paid promptly before that, don’t know what happened to them and why are they not replying and paying.

It's incredible that they post your articles but don't pay you.
Also that "they only pay 30 days after receiving an invoice" is really a joke. Normally you have 5 years (depends on legislation) to claim money for your work.

I'd give them a final payment deadline and inform them that you will otherwise file DMCA complaints at their Webhost and at Google.

I feel really bad for you Neha, hope you will eventually receive your hard-earned money.

My writing company has had an excellent working relationship with most GPWA members that have hired us in the past, only one client hasn't paid last three invoices before we decided to end our cooperation and also stopped replying to my emails.

We're in similar situation like Neha.

    Casinopedia.org owe us over $500.

They've published the articles and they ignore our emails.

I wrote this in the AGD, but might as well write it here. Since your material has been published, you've written it but haven't received a payment technically it's still YOURS. Whoever is publishing it is in copyright infringement and you can DMCA to their host if you can find who it is, cause from what I read they are on a cloud.

Second write to the Google DMCA team and explain everything, with copies of the material, the page in question. Sure you may not see your money back, but if several of you notify Google on copyright context, some sort of manual action will be taken.

In fact talk to the other cheated people and collaborate. Mention each other in the DMCAs with each other's account and stuff. Make it obvious it's not a single accident and that indeed you are getting ripped off.
