Casinos data collecting

Hello, fellow affiliates!

I'm an affiliate myself; and we are building a casinos information database with info of restricted countries, game providers, payment methods and other.
The goal is to have data collected, systemized, easy to access, and up to date. From my experience, I know it takes a lot of resources, time, and effort.

The basic idea is this:
We take the workload and provide you with correct, systemized data and always keep it up to date.
And for a monthly fee: you can access it and automatically connect and import data to your website from google sheets. So you don't need to do long researches, data collecting, copying and updating.

How are you guys collecting it now? Do you organize and manage that data in-house or how you do it?

i always do these things through fiverr. for like 100/200 usd they create all the data you need....

i have done it in the past myself, but it is a pain in the ass to get all the data and to keep it up to date... so why do it yourself if some india guys do this ten times faster and ten times cheaper...

sidenote: when you do this through fiverr, you always have to double check it in the end as they mostly do the job 80% right... but ok, it stll saves you loads of time to get the basics done.

ps. i kinda have the exact same database as you post here...currently busy creating this on a country based level...

if i could biy a membership for this which offers me to download this kind of data through csv, i would buy it for sure... only problem is for you: once someone buys the data there is no much point in staying a member as i already have the data by then... so not sure if the earnings model is good enough for this but ok, im sure you thought about this yourself as well..

How is it going with your service? Do you also plan to provide the data in other forms like cvs, xml or an API?

I would be interested, depending on the countries provided and price.

Yes, we are still working on this project. Did our due diligence, tried some different ways to collect the data. Talked with are few companies who do scrapers(too costly), tried a few Fiverr people to collect it(very inaccurate results). We concluded that the most accuracy and quality plus cost-efficient way to make this service work is collecting data manually site by site, as they are all built differently.


At the moment we are focusing only on restricted countries. As we do Geo-targeting and it's most important data for us from this spectrum, a lot of traffic loses comes from there.


An example of the problem of inaccurate restricted countries data: A player comes from France IP and sees these casino companies recommended and displayed:

The process as of now by which we are going to build this will be, that for example, you(the affiliate) give us companies lists of the ones you need restricted countries from, or we give you the list of what we are tracking now, and you select required companies.
We create and provide a separate google sheet for you, where you ether can connect with your page or save it other formats:

We collect data and compare it from 3 to 5 your selected countries or a few more if they have a lot of different licenses.


As of now we can provide you with 300 regularly updated, and be building 50 to 150 casinos plus - to the database a month. Your given casinos list will be collected first.

There will be no 1-time purchases as of now for all the data.
We are going by subscription model for at least 6 months 300eu/a month.

Accuracy wise data will be I can say 95% accurate, as some casinos hide it very carefully. Other than that, we have established reliable methods and have accountable and scrupulous people to fulfil them.

I build a system so here are some pointers

SQL style is the obvious best solution for this but exporting to a single doc for a casino is simple as well from this. You will need a lot of many to one relationships for software, currencies, jurisdictions, bonuses. On a another level I have all Geo locations set as either restrict by or allow only, and this is alters bonuses as well that show for casinos.

I read your post with interest as I am always wanting to learn more on the industry as well as the workings of the big wide web we all find ourselves swallowed up in.
Gathering data, as said in other replies most certainly is more accurate and reliable when done by humans.
I will keep an eye a watchful eye on your progress and best of luck.
