Now we've moved it into public like you wanted it's indexed in Google and anyone can find it (it's at the top of the 2nd page now when you search for your domain). Don't blame me or the mods here, after all you asked for it.

Ok. Firts of All No one hosting will shut any site down, not warning its client befor. Or only by the court decision. Second DCMA only can remove NOT the WHOLE site But pages with copied content from the search engines.

Tell that to the 10+ sites that we have had completely taken down in the past for copying our site and/or content. And you might want to check with the T&Cs of the host you use for your site, Just Host. Specifically section 11 where it says this (pay attention to the part that says "termination of websites"):

This is where you fundamentally don't understand what you are doing. Every website that reviews an ipod or a TV or a car or a book describes the same product. Are they all the same? No of course not, because the authors introduce their own personal opinions, biases, insight and taste into their articles. You, on the other hand offer nothing of value to your readers. You are content to just slightly (and badly) rewrite what someone else has written. If I may be so bold as to give you some advice that you don't deserve, that is a dumb strategy. As soon as the search engines work it out or someone like me complains, your site is history. Originality wins in the long run.

I do think thebookiesoffers is right. First and hopefully last stop should be with the hosting company. I have had success dealing with the hosting companies, who will give the offending webmaster a chance to remove the page (usually 48hrs) and then would suspend the website. Obviously some hosting companies may be better at this than others, but I have found this the most direct, stress-free, quick and successful way of getting rid of the problem. Fingers crossed that continues to be the case.
