CBG Affiliate Weekend July 15- July 18 2011

I just wanted to post the dates for our event in Niagara Falls Canada .Registration is not open yet as we are putting finishing touches on a few things but some highlights you will be interested in :

- SEO Guru Leslie Carruthers will be back and available for one on one discussions Friday Night and will be doing her presentations and Q & A Saturday.If you want Leslie to do a free evaluation of your website please send me your URL and any Specifics .She will select three websites and do this as part of her presentations on Saturday.

- Because of everything that is going on these days in our business we felt we were missing a key element of the event and that is why we have brought Stu Hoegner from Gaming Counsel.co on board.Stu will be putting together a presentation but he will be hanging out with us for the weekend and available for discussions through the weekend.

As for the sponsors we have some old friends coming back as well as some new people joining us.Referback will be joining us this year and will be sending some of the team over as well as Colin Anderson their new employee

As usual the food will be plentiful and the Games room is open for free drinks all weekend.We will be enjoying A Maid of the Mist Tour together and plenty of other fun stuff . I look forward to seeing you all again soon !

CBG Affiliate Weekend will take place July 15-18, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This will be our fourth annual gathering at the Fallsview, Hilton Hotel, overlooking the top of the world famous Horseshoe falls and adjacent to the Fallsview Casino. We've worked hard again to create what has become a favorite event for many affiliates and affiliate programs. This year we are working hard to create the right balance of helpful sessions and fun social events. Best of all, the events are at the hotel or just across the street.

One way that helps make the CBG Affiliate Weekend such a successful event is by limiting the number of sponsors attending. This puts less pressure of the affiliates attending and makes it easy for the affiliate programs to meet affiliates over a meal, a coffee break or during the free time that's built into the schedule everyday. This year our sponsors are AffActive, Brightshare, Euro Partners, Fortune Affiliates, Mojo Affiliates, Referback and Sports Interaction. We are thrilled to have 4 returning sponsors, including Fortune Affiliates 3rd appearance here.

Well, it's not all just fun and games, The Search Guru, Leslie Carruthers and Lawyer- Accountant and gaming industry expert, Stuart Hoegner will be leading our informational sessions. Leslie is returning for her second year to talk about SEO and how you can improve your site by learning and following the industry's best practices. Leslie will also be reviewing 3 affiliate sites as part of her presentation. Stuart Hoegner joins us for the first time and will be discussing issues facing the industry and how the online affiliate can adapt their businesses to these changes.

Dear GPWA,

It is indeed a pleasure that I can officially announce that Referback will be in attendance at this years CBG conference as one of the official sponsors.

I have been involved with the CBG personally now for the last three years and truly advise anyone thinking of attending to mark their caleneders as this is a conference like back in the beginnning of the i gaming world.

Not only is the weekends food and drinks totally free, it is filled with interesting keynote speakers and not nearly as crazy as the IGB conferences, with many more chances of networking than at the larger conferences.

To put the icing on the cake, I cannot honestly think of a better place to have a conference than Niagara Falls, as it is truly one of the worlds most special places.

You are within walking distance of the wonderful Horseshoe Falls, and again only a 200 yard walk to the wonderful Fallsview Casino and a 5 minute taxi ride to Clifton Hill.

So bummed I wont be there. MojoAffiliates is going.. but I am going to miss seeing new and old friends... not to mention the networking!

I'll be in Germany when the conference is happening, but I'll be sure to raise my Stein from across the world while everyone is at CBG Affiliate weekend!

Hi All, I rarely post like this but for those of you who may not have dealt with Colin at ReferBack, I thought I'd post that you should take every opportunity to chat with him. He is an excellent manager and is incredibly helpfull and I think it is great to see he will be attending again this year.

Lets not forget our other friendly aff mgr's as all are great assets to have at the convention as well. By far this convention is amoungst the best I have attended and really look forward to each year....plus I get to bug Judy and Dean so that is an added plus...

Hope to see many of my old friends again this year!
