Hey guys and girls , Only 10 weeks left and we have some exciting updates for you.This year we have a few new Programs attending and here is the confirmed list to date.

We will have a mailer going out to all affiliates who have previously attended and those joining us for the first time very shortly to announce all programs and their official CBG Affiliate Weekend Promos .
Some highlights to mention ,Gr88 is throwing a great Affiliate tournament with the live table on Friday night.
-Brightshare Shelley and Marcia are joining us for the first time ,they have some great prizes which Shelley will announce very soon.
-Vistagaming.com will be there , they are well known for the great lunch they provide last year and I am happy to say that they are our best US facing Bingo group to date in such a short time.
-Betway has just signed TODAY and I am very excited to have such a great program joining us ,with casino,poker and Sportsbook they have a little something for everyone.
-Slotland affiliates are attending for the first time ,Hilary will be making announcements here shortly .
-Fortune Affiliates is coming , anyone who attended last year can vouch for the excellent dinner they put on for us over the amazing Niagara Falls.This year all Sponsors are doing things as a group but you can be assured Anthony will be overseeing the menu and you will be equally please.This is not a feast to miss and if you are counting calories please stay away because the lowest calorie count on the menu will be the cheesecake !

Hi All, although I have not been as active in the industry as in the past I still keep up on the boards. I do not recall this show in the past and wondered if people can give me some idea of what to expect.

This is targeted mostly to Canadian affs correct or the Canadian players? I am interested in attending as I had planned a trip to Niagra with my wife anyways and would love to combine both. Can somebody give me some insight to this show?

This is the third year for the event - Judy took it over last year and has done wonders with it.

Last year, Bodog, Fortune Affiliates, and Reefer Poker were the sponsors. Michael Corfman was one of the speakers. It was an all inclusive event. Free food, alcohol, sessions... the only expenses were the room and travel.

The Friday night dinner was hosted by Fortune - it was 5 star! Bodog hosted the Saturday night party complete with Bodog girls, poker tournaments, gifts and prizes.

Reefer looked after breakfast/lunch which was a full blown buffet.

I don't know how many affiliates attended last year but the party room was full. The event was small enough that we had plenty of one on one time with the folks from each of the sponsor programs, something that doesn't happen at the big conferences.

While the event was originally planned as a local gathering, it is quickly becoming global. I predict that in a couple years this event will be as big as any North America conference.

Should you come? Absolutely!

Terry is correct ,as the locals know my husband and I host a couple dinners a year for Local affiliates and Managers for a few years now. In feb 2008 the dinner was so big we were shout across the table and it made it very difficult to talk to each other then we had the idea that we need to make a better plan as it was impossible to catch up on everything in 4 hour meal.

My intention was to make it a Canadian event but everyone was welcome to come.Last year we had affiliates from Spain ,Australia ,UK ,USA and Canada .This year we have all these countries represented and Also three affiliates coming from Italy .Last year we had 153 people although I think the most we ever had in a room together was 110 .There were a few who got lost in the Casino across the street but this year I think we will post a couple people at the casino to help them find their way lol.

I am very happy for the support I have received from Alex Pratt this year .I met Alex for the first time in Januaury and I have a great deal of respect for him because unless you plan one of these events you have no clue how difficult it can be especially when Programs want to wait til last minute to make a decision .This really impacts everything as we do not know until closer to the end the budget we have to work with.Meanwhile the hotel requires 80% of estimate to be guaranteed 120 days prior to event.I appreciate the current sponsors support and especially the people like Brightshare,Slotland and gr88.com who had confidence in me based on our event last year to confirm and pay practically the first week we made our announcements.

We still need 4 sponsors to have everything 'perfect' and not have to cut into the all important Alcohol Budget .We have a couple special surprises that we will not be disclosing until the end but everyone will be quite pleased about it.

I am hoping to announce the SEO part of the weekend in a week - two weeks ,It will definitely be awesome.

To qualify for our free draws you must book your room BEFORE the draw ,the hotel needs a valid credit card but they will not charge your card until you check out.The hotel provides us with a booking list every week so be sure your hotel booking is in the same name as your registration.The free weekend draws are for AFFILIATES only.

I'm still recovering from the prague show, so i'm glad the event is happening at the end of the summer. but early enough that i can recover before budapest (if i actually go).

Last year was a great time despite my huge loss ($20 plus bragging rights) at the poker table. Anyone who, like myself, hates parties that are dominated by loud music will love this event. It's so much easier to socialize, which is why i go to parties.

I look forward to seeing everyone there and catching up with friends.

Those of you who want the nightclub experience, there are several available in town, two (Seven and Dragonfly) just a block or two away.

Great to hear that brightshare and slotland are making it. Also will be nice to see islandman after all these years.

I just booked my hotel. Not having over bearing nightclubs actually sounds nice to me. People can go to those on their own after if they want. Also in Canada you can breath everywhere and are not always in a cloud of smoke due to strict smoking laws which is a plus. Actually means I wont lose my voice after the first 20 minutes at a bar.

I got an email from Shelley from Brightshare yesterday and the hotel told her all our block of 50 rooms have been sold out.I have emailed them this morning to get another 50 rooms added to our block so if anyone tried booking and got same response they should be available after 5pm EST.

I leave for vacation today until Aug 6 but will have limited internet access.
