city government corruption

I debated whether to put this in the fun section but it isn't about fun....

We talk often of government corruption and this story is about that at the city level.

The woman in question is filing a lawsuit, and I for one would like to see the Feds get involved in this one right away.

Due to how much press the video is getting they will likely have to become involved since it does look like constitutional rights might have been violated and it appears that the Mayor has a pretty strong case to take the State.

I have since watched a few other videos of this city's meetings and it appears that residents are finally getting fed up, I just hope that something is done before any violence erupts.

It's the "Police State" brother! It's been here for awhile now, just getting worse each and every day in towns and cities all over the USA.

It won't get any better anytime soon either as long as the American Sheeple let acts such as the Non-Patriot Act stand.

Remember that woman who was arrested at her town meeting for speaking? The town declared state of emergency, fired mayor, fired the police chief, and found out that 8 to 10 checks every year by the city go to "unnamed people" in fraud, corruption. Article Link

Yea I dug around and read a bunch yesterday too....

The way I understand it, the mayor had already filed reports of corruption about the council's dealings with the state.

I am sure there are some towns accross the country that might have worse problems, but this one will likely make a lot of headlines....thanks for the article I had actually read that one before since it is a repost.

Government corruption in cities is now day by day increasing. The main share in this corruption are of government employees like Police,Traffic Police,Government Employees in Banks and Post-Offices. They take charges from customers for they are paid from government salaries. The rate of corruption can be decreased by increasing there salaries to sufficient and at a satisfied rate.

I do not support raising their saleries, but DO support their prosecution....

And just because they might be an elected or appointed official, should not give them a free pass.
