Colorado men try to kill Amatuer Poker Tour owner ... with rattlesnakes

Okay, remind Buzzy never to play in the Amatuer Poker Tour.

Apparently some players were owed money, and the owner wasn't paying up. So they took matters into their own hands and planned on killing him with rattlesnakes.

The plan was to build a wooden box to hold the snakes and "the lid was to be built to allow Sowash's legs to be put inside but not pulled out."

So not only do you not win money when you win on this tour, but imagine what might happen to you if you dish out a bad beat!

This story is just too good ... unbelievable quote from a story in Reuters.

"It's a story out of the Wild West -- there's poker, rattlesnakes and unsavory characters," said Lance Clem, spokesman for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. "The only thing I haven't heard is someone calling another guy a varmint."
