No baby or child could die in from the cords that hold blinds.

Most parents probably needed money, or was in fanancial difficulty, or something, but blinds cannot and did not kill any baby. Babies are just helpless "money cows" for people that want a lump sum of money to get their self out of whatever financialty difficulty they get into when their credit and money is all spent.
I believe that a background check of people who claim children died by falling into trash bags, and or by being "rolled on" by some obese parent, is full of it.
Kudos to whoever sent that - NOT - Perhaps i forgot to mention that the parents are millionaires, not that it makes a fig of difference

If i ever get to DC, i will be happy to look them up ...

These kind of *freak* accidents are extremely heart rendering to read and sadly the majority of items in the house can kill or lame a child/and sometimes even adult. You can only go so far making a house childproof and the rest is down to vigilance and a careful eye on what they are doing. The child in question looked like a happy lovely lilttle kid and that just adden's to how sad this case is.

    Paul,

I have posted this on my political forum and have stuck the thread. I have left links to the petition and the article on Sky News. I cannot even begin to contemplate how the poor parents of that little boy are feeling.

You mention freak accidents can kill adults too.
12 years ago my grandad was up a ladder cutting back some trees in my nans garden (they had seperated) when he slipped and hung himself between the rungs.

In a cruel twist of fate the paramedic who arrived at the house was my uncle, his son in law.

Please let this A-hole who sent that know what an ignorant, insensitive, piece of S$#% they are and how a number of us think that precious oxygen is being wasted on their thought processes.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this and i mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Anyone of you are welcome to a link back from me and i will happily oblige.

Have to say this story has brought tears to my eyes more than once and taken up a lot of my time, however, whatever i can do to help with this in anyway is worth twice the time i am dedicating.

Please realise too, that the family are very much thankful for the support.

Fred, you touched me so much with your comments, we have not seen eye to eye recently, i like to think we are not personally at odds with each other as you are a very well respected person here in West Brom.

You offered your support and this shows even more so how much of a man and good person you are.

If only an email address was a brick and mortar address, i would be on a plane to kick that ignorant bastard where it hurts after the comment he sent to the official email address for the family. Thank God my daughter admin's the email and not the parents.

Once again thank you all so much - you will never know how much this means to me.

    Post written on
    http://justwebsitereviews.com/suppor...dow-blinds/574
and also added to Justarsenal.com, Twitter, Facebook, Google news, etc.

Here is an idea, I also copied the post and sent in via email to EVERYONE in my address book, and told them all to pass it on.

Anyone else wishing to help could copy the story and email all their friends too. We could make this into a big viral email.

Let's get this Law passed, ot at least let all parents of young children be aware of the dangers.

You know i'm not interested in a link mate.
