Congressman calls for examination of daily fantasy sports

Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) has called for an examination of whether daily fantasy sports sites such as DraftKings and FanDuel should be considered online gambling sites. He's long advocated for regulation of sports betting.

“These sites are enormously popular, arguably central to the fans’ experience, and professional leagues are seeing the enormous profits as a result. Despite how mainstream these sites have become, the legal landscape governing these activities remains murky and should be reviewed.”
