On this home page there is content that is hidden - copy that reveals when you click 'read more'. Can anyone tell me if that is acceptable to google as copy that will count towards SEO indexing?

I would imagine so. If you click on view source can you see the full text as that is what bots will see when they crawl and index.

Hi - accettabale yes, but according to this article, the content of the 'read more' area is not counted as highly by google for indexing:

So, put the important content in the area that loads up without any user interaction.
