    Default Covid affiliate commissions drop?

How many have seen a significant drop in affiliate commissions (I took 50% plus hit in commissions from the covid months and struggling to reach its old levels).

    What about everyone else?

I think you should differetiate between sportsbetting and casino. With almost no live events, sportsbetting took a hit for sure; with casino I'd suppose the opposite.

It also depends on the country/culture. In some countries, people will start betting more. In other countries, people are scared for their job and are more careful with spending money.

Similar here, mainly sportsbook, although first few months were deeper than 50%. Recovering slowly but still not back to where we’d like to be, seem to have lost a few bigger players on the way too.

In some of the programs, I see as well big loss of good players ( economical issues like business lost or bankrupted).

In other programs , i see some increase as people were betting on casino, now they have all they want in sports and if they did not lose they jobs, figures are increasing.
The funny thing is that , some other people bet like this wi be their last year in betting.

2020 is pretty strange year, not only because of COVID 19.....

All numbers increased a lot during March/April. Now all is almost the same as before and no big difference.

Certainly noticing a change in September from previous levels. Could be due to people being more careful with their money in case of loss of job or less free time. Strange year indeed.

We did very well in June and July, but have seen a noticeable drop in August and September so far.

There are some changes... uncertain times are ahead of us, so many people are probably starting to save funds in every way, including gambling.

Talking sportsbook, the thing I’m seeing is lower active players as a % of each base, but those who are playing are seemingly winning more. Now that could be a short(ish)-term blip, could be shaving, could be punters having more time to place more measured bets or could be that fewer recreational (poor) punters aren’t bothered which leaves the more savvy ones.

Tricky for bookies if that is the case as margins being squeezed on top of lower volumes on top of higher tax & regulation could make for a bumpy ride until things level out.

I can not help myself, but commissions go through the roof.

Considering that I am delivering less and less players and I live from the core players and that all affiliate programs steal or lose my players, it looks like people really do gamble a lot during corona.

The autumn and winter are spectacular. Both US and non_US revenues. The registrations/FTDs however drop and keep dropping (it can be caused by other causes than corona).

eaton2003, I also took a hit to my commissions, with revenue diminishing roughly 11% all around. This all started around October 2020. The pandemic isn't the only problem here I see, it's also the tighter rules and regulations that they're always coming up with. Not to mention the world economy. There's a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration.
