In my opinion the percentage side works better to your advantage since you then have that player for life. Unless you have tons of traffic to your site where you get a good amount of signups the CPA deal will only net you for whatever deal you work out. I'm sure there are other views.

always consider %....
highrollers also plays online and thru google and my casino promotion test i actually had several gamblers betting $10k a week/month.....
Thats when i first learned why the casinos keept outbidding my adwords etc. HEHE
I have been a gambling webmaster since 1999 with my own gambling sites (ebooks etc) but promoting casinos on the searchengines helped me learn alot!
always go for the %!

For the casino management it is better to do CPA if the players are known to be good quality.
I prefer as an affiliate manager to do % because it has a lower risk and it keeps the affiliate working with me for longer time.
CPA is more of a short time deal, I pay for the amount of players I get, it is also very time comsuming to track the success of the campaign.
I love paying commission % to the affiliates:
1. It creates bonding between us and the feeling is like we are working together, there is more mutual responsability to make it profitable.
2. I make commission from what the affiliates earn so my interest is the pay them as much as I can.

I think it depends on the type of traffic your site offers and the casino you are promoting.
Are there recurring incentives to redeposit? If so, % would seem far better, imo.
If not, CPA, obviously depending on the amount could be excellent too.
I would recommend testing with % and then evaluate your average player's worth. With that number, you will be able to determine what is more profitable for you.![]()

I have had success my both models, but you can flat out get bigger profits with the % model![]()
I agree, that for a casino it is more favourable to pay of %, because, 1) as has told Alfredokofman: " I make commission from what the affiliates earn so my interest is the pay them as much as I can. "
2) " you then have that player for life ".
Question: as far as it is more favourable %?
On my statistics I from the player on the average have approximately $30 per one year. (25-30 % profit).
if I am not sure, that the affiliate will work more than 3 years - to me more favourably to take $100 CPA now.
Who has what statistics?
I need some $10k a week players
I think I'm doing well when one makes me $500+. I wouldn't go for ppc or pps payments though - I think there is more risk of it being shaved.
Always read the terms of each program to see:
What is the CPA amount?
What is the minimum deposit by Credit Card, Neteller etc?
What is the minimum deposit that the player needs to make to get the CPA credit?
Obviously if the Casino mimimum deposit is $20, but in order to get the CPA credit the player needs to depsoit $50 for example, then don't go for it.
