Overall, if the casino is a good casino and good with their marketing, you'll make more money with Revenue Share, even with its risky ups and downs.

Some people still prefer CPA's, tho, because it's more stable income. I have a couple of CPA's, and everything else is RevShare.

I myself choose profit share all the time. I have found that when you get yourself loyal players it can carry you through the roughest slowest times!!

But thats just my choice and I have found it has worked well for me

I agree, revenue share. I get a really steady, even income from the poker sites that I promote, so I feel like I can afford to gamble a little more (pun intended...) with the revenue share on my other casino programs.

Plus, nothing like waking up to a whale in your net!

One of my favorite things about this job is it's similarity to bartending: you never know how much you'll make in a given day/night. One good customer can swing the balance dramatically. One BAD customer can too...but I personally enjoy the unpredictability.

Who wants to miss a high roller?

Not me, so always revenue share. Less than three days ago I have got two good surprises that have nearly doubled my revenues, in just two nights.

Depend on your traffic. For spanish I really recommend CPA, but for french, encglish and german gamblers do not think twice, choose Rev Share.

    It's slower but always better

    This is interesting.

Why do you say CPA for spanish?

    Do they usually never return?

    Is there more chargebacks?

I have been working the hispanic niche for many years, and you can be sure about choose cpa, mainly I have 2 reasons:

1 - They aren't loyalty gamblers. Casinos do not have good atention in spanish, so they left.

2 - Don't bet much money (only spain are good bettors, the rest country are poor or have many chargebacks in casinos)

    Cheers

I guess PPS is only better if people are just going to gamble a few dollars and move on. Are there casinos that offer bonuses to players, and then try to move them to other casinos so they can collect the revshare?

A good way to do it is et up two campaigns for each casino, one CPA and one Rev Share. Then, wherever you link via a "bonus" banner or text or on a page with emphasis on the bonus, use the CPA and where the data is more geared towards the advantages of a casino, use Rev Share.

Works for me - i think

I used to use all revenue share, but I have started using CPA for poker. I was just not generating very much income from poker using revenue share.

I don't think I would ever use CPA for Poker...

It takes a little longer to make money with poker players...but almost every single player will more than surpass the cpa rate in rev-share earnings.

Also, most poker players will become very loyal to the rooms they play at.

That has not been my experience.

over 2004 only 22.4% of my poker players, redeposit.

As a portal owner, I have very little control over player retention, all I can do is to try to attract players that will play.

Maybe I am promoting the wrong Poker Rooms...

i am in my third year of this business and i can tell you that after all this time of advertising poker, its finally starting to pay off.

i only take profit sharing and its proving to be very worth it with poker players. You get a couple of dedicated poker players and you will be very happy!!

    be patient with the poker
