Do you think we can pay with other payment methods than crypto in the future?
Can I deposit with my MasterCard, or will casinos only accept crypto currencies? If yes, how many years until this is the reality?
Interested in hearing what you guys think about this topic.
Other payment methods existed, and still do exist for decades before crypto was added as a payment method. (horses were around for millennia before the cart)
Will the crypto only operators change and add other methods? Maybe that is up to them and they will base that decision on what geo's that they target, but for many that are strictly crypto only I think is less likely.
Whether you can personally deposit at a casino using your credit card or other payment methods depends solely on each individual operator and the geo you are in.

Most casinos offer other methods and not just crypto, including but not limited to, PayPal, Neteller. Also, as Rick has already mentioned to you, some operators are strictly dealing in crypto only.

I personally don't think we will come to a time when crypto will take over completely, the same way that e-wallets haven't taken over credit and debit cards.
When I search for affiliate programs anywhere it seems most of the sponsors at GPWA are crypto brands. Most programs just don't look familiar with the exception of Bet365.

They are brands that just happen to accept crypto as a payment method. And for most of them crypto is an addition not an exclusive.

I'm working on a brand at the moment that accepts Crypto and FIAT.
The problem is KYC. Crypto is supposed to be anonymous.
Depositing in Crypto and withdrawing in FIAT is potentially a nightmare for KYC. To avoid money laundering.
It will happen but there is an awful lot of behind the scenes work that needs to be done.

IMO depends a lot about GEO. I hardly see any changes for crypto casinos in Nordic markets, like Finland.

What are the biggest challenges that blockchain gambling faces? I think that regulatory uncertainty and volatility of cryptocurrencies are two of the biggest challenges. However, I believe that these challenges can be overcome, and I am confident that blockchain gambling has the potential to be a major success.
The biggest challenge is more to do with politicians not being able to understand blockchain.
Crypto will probably take a hit with tougher regulations after FTX falling apart.
