Fortuna is **** is not it?

The biggest brand is Tipsport, they have 1 year quota on default.

Then there is their spinoff Chance.

Sazkabet is part of the biggest lottery.

    Then synottip, kajot, victoriatip, startip.

    Fortuna is totally crap.

They have some quota that results in no commission at all if you don't reach it. Also nowhere in their terms is pointed out that revenue share is for lifetime. They give 1 year contracts and you need to re-negotiate that all the time.

It seems they do not need affiliates and they made the terms just so that they can take your playerbase for free whenever they want.

Obviously I am not putting too much effort in promoting them.

It is as you say. Even when close to CZ I do not even bother to look at the affiliate programs. In a way it is a similar market to UK. Few oligopolies divided the market and they do not need affiliates. They have bribed... no they completely own the gambling department of ministry of finance (the former secretary of the department said exactly that).

Their effort was to push the online competition out of market (after they tried for years to ban online betting as whole), the leader was Sazka. Now there is the big Czech internet wall, so they block websites, but the gambling companies deliberately pulled out, so Czechs have nowhere to bet, just at the domestic companies. Tbh they all use the same software and betradar mostly.

You have some big names of gambling in politics directly, like Ivo Valenta, owner of Synot, one of the richest Czech guys.

It is a dead market for affiliates. At least for now and until Bitcoin or something like that.

It sounds like Romania. There are obvious ties between politicians, authorities and some groups. There are a bit more legal options than in CZ, but most of them have a huge land-based base and/or prefer to spend their marketing budget in ads, bonuses and sport sponsorships. The few international parties that appear are the usual predators that appear in every regulated market... GVC, 888, Pokerstars. Just Betway is missing.

In Belgium for example, it's the same thing. Various parties spent quite some money in bribes. The ex-owner of Napoleon Games is even conducted for it. Result: landbased guys are ruling the industry, some of them even without affiliate program, others with very predatory terms.

I'd say the casinos are behind this - with this new law they have just improved their balance sheet considerably. Close the market to all outsiders and then ban bonuses in the entire country, what a great idea. Of course, the players have no choice but to play without the bonus.

Interestingly, Czech companies (namely, Fortuna) spread their influence in other EU countries such as Croatia, Spain and Romania. So they're doing fine abroad. We can expect further expansion once they make even more money in Czech Republic now when they don't have to issue those darn bonuses anymore.

i forgot about maxi-tip.cz, right now famous poker player Vojtech Ruzicka bought a stake there; maybe Leon Tsoukernik is involved as well
those are names from the new progressive generation
they do not have affiliate i think

Tipsport got hurt badly in Russia, I do not think Czech companies are capable to spread anywhere else than in eastern EU
Those guys have no balls, no innovation
Fortuna copied not just website of Bwin, they copied even their banners... and it seems even the affiliate program
There were talks about merger of Bwin and Fortuna, but idk how far it went

Is it some kind of BWin white label it seems? Online it's mainly exploiting their name I think. Typical brands that do well in over-regulated and over-taxed countries, with a small market, few competitors and where they have a land based base. Also, a brand like Gaming1 (Circus) appears in that kind of markets.

But they have no chance at all in markets like the UK, Sweden, Netherlands, etc. However I wonder how long Gaming 1 will survive. In really every country players are complaining about their poor customer service and slow payments.

I was wondering too, if Fortuna stole the design and everything or if it was some kind of secret deal. I have no idea, but talks about merger I saw somewhere.

All Czech brands have brick and mortar shops, I think that is the condition of the online licence. All players must have their IDs checked at those shops.

As you say: just **** brands like 1xbet remain (and those have already have some domains blocked).

    Btw. Fortuna is PLC: http://akcie-cz.kurzy.cz/akcie/fortuna-3861/graf

I think they have some deal with BWin, like they also have a deal with Playtech for their casino stuff. Also, Maxbet for example has a deal with Playtech and Nethive... and Gameworld with Gaming1. Gameworld looks alike a clone of Circus.ro or for example ESC Online in Portugal.

They're better in selling their platform than in running a decent product.

Yeah, exactly. Most brands close for CZ, just some brands that everywhere focus on black market traffic remain. Like 1xbet.
