    Default DFS industry not pleased with proposed Massachusetts regulations

    DraftKings and FanDuel are not happy with a few of the stipulations in Massachusetts' outlined regulations for the daily fantasy sports industry in the state. Namely, that players will need to be at least 21 years old to play for real money, and that users won't be able to play contests based on college sports.

    Some might call Massachusetts' proposed regulations "fair." But that's only relative to the fact that the state could shut the whole industry down (within the state) if it wanted to, so really anything lighter than that is "fair."

    The pretense that DFS was not gambling on sports because it didn't actually use the final score was always a struggle for me.
    I expect DFS to be treated the same as sports gambling within 2 years. (because it is)
