My answer is yes, but it's not that I didn't buy links. It's just that my content was referenced for free. This works especially well when you come up with a unique story, like some kind of research, and post it on Reddit for discussion. If you get noticed, success is guaranteed. I have had such a case, but not in the field of casino, lol.

if you mean "without buying links" = do not pay directly to the donor for link placement (link insertion or guest post), I think it could be successful, by using crowd, pies, PBN, or others . These variants are "free to place a link", but you'll have other bills for it. So could be, but I don't see any doubt about it

I bought only 3 backlinks. I built alone most of my backlinks. I have a few keywords phrases in the first page and only one keyword phrase in the first page
